Allura's POV - Three Months Later
"Good news! We can start planning the build of the house. The Olkarions and builders we hired have found the perfect place to start building, even better than we had hoped for." I said. The team erupted into cheers. "What's the land like?!" Lance asked. "Oh, it is absolutely gorgeous! Most of the land is flat, but the best part is that the backyard of the house will be on top of a promontory right above a beach that leads straight to the ocean!" I squealed. More cheering. "Can we go swimming? Like is the beach accessible?" Hunk questioned. "Yes! Only part of the beach has a cliff, the rest connects to the flat land. You all will enjoy it so much! It is sort of like where the castle used to stay, before we used it as a ship." I nodded. "Awesome." Pidge grinned. "Alright. Where should we start as to what the house should look like?" Shiro asked, sitting down at the table. The Garrison had given us a house on the edge of the campus, big enough for everyone to move around in. However, a bunch of us had roomed together because there weren't enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own. Pidge and I shared a room, Shiro and Coran, which oddly enough hadn't gone badly yet, Lance and Hunk, and Keith who happened to get a room by himself. He chose the smallest of the bedrooms, big enough for a bed, bedside table, and a small desk. He kept his clothes and personal belongings in the little closet he had. "I think we should definitely have a training room and pool." Keith stated. "OOH! What if we add a waterslide that goes from the top of the cliff down into the ocean?!" Lance slapped his hands down on the table to add a dramatic flare to his suggestion. Shiro scribbled the ideas onto a sheet of paper. "Hangar for the lions!" "Big bedrooms! And a tech lab!" Pidge shouted. "GIANT KITCHEN!" Hunk shouted even louder. More scribbling. "Slide stairs!" "Library!" "Trampolines!" "Home theater!" "Bowling alley!" "Tennis and golf outside!" "Obstacle courses for pets and people!" "Floor to ceiling windows!" "GIANT FLIPPING FISH TANK!!!" Shiro somehow managed to keep up with every single request that was being thrown at him. "WHAT ABOUT GLASS FLOORS?!" "YES!" "Rooftop patio!" "Hot tub!" "I think we should add hammock flooring and full ceiling skylights." "Arcade!" "Swings for the pools and everywhere else, for that matter!" "Giant freezers, fridge, and pantry!" "Fireplaces, outdoor and indoor." "Garden!" "Garage with custom accommodations!""The outdoor pool can have a grill and bar in the middle! Oh, and it can be saltwater while we're at it!" "Can we get an entire shelving system for cats?" "And an aviary!" "I WANT AN ACTUAL LION!" "WOAH-KAY, that's enough! We'll discuss what pets we're getting later!" Shiro stopped us after we suggested a lion. He looked down at his watch. "It's getting late anyways. You all should be heading to bed, especially if we want to actually get this plan figured out." "Aw!" "We're not kids anymore, Shiro!" The group complained. "Sleep, or no lions." The room emptied within seconds.
