I open my eyes and see flames in the room. I look around and see everything on fire. My heart beats as fast as a hummingbird, as I stand in horror. My hands feel numb, as my head pounds. My face feels burning hot, as a cold sweat drips down my spine. I hear a bloodcurdling scream outside the room, as I attempt to run to the noise. But, I feel trapped in where I stand. I try to move, but feel a pressure stopping me from doing so. I look back to where Louis sleeps. My heart stops, as I see him burning in a fire.  He wakes up and screams as his skin burns. His eyes fill with horror. "Help!" He says to me in fear. I try to move but once more feel trapped. He shrieks again, as he slowly burns away.  I scream as loud as I can, then wake up.
Tears run down my face, as I realize it was all a nightmare. Louis gives me a frighted look, as he was awakened by me screaming. "What happened?" He asks in a worried voice. I take a breath and say "I-I had a nightmare. It was terrible."
I lay in bed in fear, as Louis wraps his arms around me. "What was it about?" He gently asks me. I stutter, but manage to say "E- everything was on fire. You were burning alive. I tried to save you, but I was trapped in where I stood."
He gives me a strange look, concerned about what I just told him.
"I've never had a nightmare this bad," I tell him. "Want me to sing you a song?" He questions me. I give him an odd look and say "What am I, a baby?" In a teasing voice. He frowns, as he turns his back to me. "Fine, what song is it?" He flips back in my direction, with a big grin. "Let it be, by The Beatles."
I roll my eyes and say "My parents loved that band. They played their album a lot." Louis responds with "Well, your parents have a great taste in music. Let me try and remember the lyrics now."
He takes a minute to remember the lyrics. He then starts singing the words in a calm, soothing voice. "When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me. Speaking words of wisdom, let it be." His smile as he sung the lyrics could make ice melt. His eyes were full of joy, bright as stars in the middle of the night. He continues to sing the lyrics, as I quietly drift off to sleep.
The next day, I wake up to birds chirping. Louis' arms are still wrapped around me, as he sleeps with a soft smile on his face. I shift out of bed, making my way onto my feet. I walk to AJ and Tenn's room, where I see AJ wide awake. "I found a picture!" AJ says in an excited voice. He shows me a photo, of a kid. He looked like he was ten years old, with dark brown eyes. "Holy shit," I say under my breath. "Holy fuck!" I say even louder. AJ gives me an odd look, as I say to him "I knew this kid in the photo, AJ." I smile in amazement, surprised I found Kenny's old house. "Who is he?" AJ asks. "His name was Duck. He was my friend at the time," I explain to him.  What happened to him?" AJ asks me, as he glances at the photo. "He was bitten. God, I remember how torn up his parents were." AJ frowns, as he asks "How did his parents move on?" I look at the floor, then back at the photo. I analyze the photo as if I was travelling back in time. "His mom took her own life. She couldn't handle life without her son. Kenny was left heartbroken with no family left," I tell him. AJ looks at me, and says "Oh." I say to him "Don't worry about it. Let's move on. We've got all day to do work. Wake up Tenn, and head to the living room." He responds with "Alright, got it."
AJ wakes up Tenn, then head to the living room. I then make my way back Louis and our room. I notice him still sleeping like a baby. I lightly shrug his shoulder, as he glances up at me. "Do I have to get up?" He mumbles. "We've got work to do. Maybe you can have a nap later?" He lightly smiles, then drags himself out of bed. "Do you think they've got any hunting stuff here? We need to hunt for food. We've hardly got any food or water here," I say to Louis. "Maybe, I can hunt for animals if you want? Anything that'll help out," he says. I reply with "Sure, that'd be fantastic."
We make our way to the living room, where AJ and Tenn are goofing off.
"AJ and Tenn, you go hunting with Louis. I'll board up the house, to make sure it's secure." Everyone nods their heads, as the three of them take off outside. Now all they need to do is possibly find some hunting gear.
I walk outside the permitter of the house, hoping I'll find some wood to barricade the house. Suddenly, I see someone from afar. "Give me a fucking break," I say to myself.
Several people with guns, walk onto the property. "We meet again, Clementine." I notice Lily approach me, getting closer with each step she takes. "Your friend shot me. You shot and killed Hayden. You are dead to me." I feel my heart tense up as if she was about to put a bullet in my head. "Let's make a deal, shall we?" Lily says in a sinister voice. "How in the living fuck did you find us?" I ask her. "We have connections, trust me," she says. "What kind of deal do you want? I ask her. "You give me the kids. We'll leave your people alone." I fight back and say "No way in hell! They're kids, what good are they to you?" She gives an evil smile and says "We teach them young. They'll be in good hands." I glance at her and say "What if we don't hand them over?" I ask her. "We kill you. All of you." My heart skips a beat, as she says those words.
Louis tries to sneak up on them, with a gun he found in the shed. "Don't fucking move," one of Lily's people say. Louis drops the gun and puts his hands over his head. AJ and Tenn hide from a far, out of sight from Lily and her group. A guy from Lily's group aggressively yanks Louis' coat, then shoves him on the ground. "This all of them?" Lily says with a chuckle. I glance at the ground, avoiding the question. "God, how pathetic. Now, hand the kids over, or you all die." I shake, as I point to where AJ and Tenn hide. I feel a pit of guilt form in my stomach, as my eyes start to water. They grab AJ and Tenn by the arm and take them along. "You've made the right decision, Clementine." I stutter and ask "Will I ever see them again?" "Not if you know where the old city hall is," a man says. "Shut the fuck up!" Lily replies to him.
They drag Tenn and AJ off the property, as AJ screams my name. Tears stream down my face, as Louis gets up. He tightly hugs me, as I cry into his shoulders. I fall onto the ground, still hugging him tightly.
"We'll find them," Louis tells me.
I feel my stomach drop, as I feel guilty for giving AJ and Tenn away like that.
"We'll find them," is all that Louis says to me.
(Hopefully, you enjoyed that chapter! First thing, don't hate on Clementine for giving away AJ and Tenn. She was in a sticky situation, practically having a gun pointed to her and Louis' head. Hopefully, you understand.
