Chapter 6

" okay Madame, I think we are here!"

The taxi driver pulls up by a huge building, a gorgeous building. Am I going to live here?

My mum told me over the phone that she would book me a suite at a nice hotel, she made a fond for me when I was little so that I could travel when I grew up and now that fond is gone!

My mum convinced me to use all the money and live at a nice place and not some student home. But luckily I'm not living alone, I've talked to a girl on Facebook that I'm going to share this suite with. Feels fun to not be all alone here in this big city! I also heard that this girl is from England originally, so maybe she can show me around, I hope she's nice... Like Hanna. I could really use a friend here in London!

" hi, my name is Jessica Watson, I've booked a suite"

I smile towards the fancy lady behind the desk.

" really? How old are you?"

The lady pulls her small glasses down her nose and looks up at me. I've always wondered why people do that? Isn't the use for glasses to see better?

" I'm 18, I'm going to study at the university of London"

She looks at me like I've ruined her whole day... What a lovely lady!

" alright, let me take a look... Oh yeah here you are, your going to share the suite with a girl named Perrie Edwards is that correct?"

The lady suddenly sounds a bit nicer, wonder if she saw what I've payed for this suite, cause... It's a lot.

" yeah sounds about right!"

" then... If you sign this contract here"

This is one of those times I wished I practised more on my signature...

"And here's your key, when the other girl arrives I'll give her another one so that you can have one each! Your room is just down this hall on the right, number 52. It's the only room with a kitchen as you requested! Hope you'll enjoy you stay here!"

Did I request a kitchen? It's must have been my mum, but it actually sounds pretty handy when I think about it. I grab the key, walks to the room, unlock the door and walks in.
