139. Real Life

"Did you pack his diaper bag already?" Chris asked Evelyn as he walked out of their room and met up with his wife and son

"Yeah, it's over there" Evelyn said as she pointed, while feeding the three week old baby in her arms, to the teal and gray diaper bag on the sofa an Chris nodded before grabbing it and calling for their dogs. The couple were heading to the Supergirl set so Evelyn can film the show. Even though her doctor had recommended her to not work for at least six weeks, Evelyn couldn't stay still and made a deal with production that she'll only do the scenes where she's Kara the reporter and not Supergirl.

"Ready to go then?" Chris asked and Evelyn nodded as she finished strapping feeding Legacy before gently placing him in his carrier

"Let's get going. Chyler texted me while you were showering and asked if we were going to set or not" Evelyn said standing up and Chris rolled his ways

"She only ever asks that to make sure that I'm staying back with Legacy while you're filming so she can smother Legacy with kisses and cuddles" Chris said making his wife laugh because he was right. The first time that Evelyn and Chris has gone to set with Legacy was about a week ago and everyone wouldn't keep their hands off of him and only left when legacy became fussy and cranky.

"That you are right my love" Evelyn said as they left the house and walked over to Chris's car with Evelyn sitting in the back with legacy once his carrier was safely secured onto its base. Their dogs were already in the back ready to start their trip to the supergirl set.

The officially premiere of the new season will be this coming Sunday and everyone on set were getting their finishing touches filmed before then hence the reason they needed Evelyn on set once again to film her scenes.

The drive to the supergirl set took about half an hour due to Chris stopping every few miles to let the dogs due this business and because of the mild traffic. Once they had arrived though, the couple saw Chyler and David, both standing outside waiting for them

"You finally made it" Chyler said once Chris had parked the car and gotten out to help Evelyn with Legacy's carrier.

"Well duh. I'm needed" Evelyn said with a grin knowing film well that Chyler was only impatient because of the new born

"Come then girls, let's head inside so Evie can get ready to film and so the baby won't get cold" David said as he let the dogs out of the back and they all were running around the parking lot chasing each other before they followed the couple and their friends inside.

"Okay so everything is in his diaper bag" Evelyn told Chris and he just smiled nodding his head

"I know babe. Now go get changed you're scene is about to be filmed" Chris replies giving his wife a kiss before walking across the set to take a seat on one of the sofas in the corner with the dogs trailing behind

The hours passed by in a blink and before they knew it, Evelyn and Chris along with their son and dogs were once again getting in the car to head home. The sun was already setting and Legacy was out like a light in his carrier.

"I can't wait for the fans reaction to the episode" Evelyn said and Chris liked over at her with a smile

"They're going to love it just as much as they have in the past angel" Chris stated before focusing back on the road

"I can't wait to start filming the cross over episode either. I mean I get to work with the coolest people ever" Evelyn gushed referring to working with Stephen, Grant, Tyler Hoechlin and Ruby Rose

"It's going to be a fun episode that's for sure" he replied making a turn unto their road a few moments later

"It would have been much better if were also in it" she added and Chris gave her a small smile

"Me too sweetheart"

Sunday's premiere of supergirl aired and everyone had been glued to their TVs and phones as the episode aired. Fans have been sending Evelyn tweets about how amazing she was and how much Nia, the new reporter at CatCo resembled Kara's in the first season and how much they were already loving the new season and its characters.

As the month of October began to end, and after three weeks of supergirl being back on air. Evelyn and Chris were busy with Legacy and making plans for the holidays. They made pans to fly out to Louisiana for thanksgiving and New York for Christmas and New Year.

"Ready to go?" Chris asked as he walked into the living room and Evelyn nodded as she strapped Legacy into his carrier

"Are you sure you want to go? You look exhausted babe" Chris said with a frown but Evelyn smiled and nodded her head

"Yeah. Besides were filming the crossover episode" she said and Chris nodded and grabbed the carrier while Evelyn grabbed the diaper bag along with Farley and Drift's leashes since the other dogs were flown out to Louisiana to stay with Ian and Nina due to Phoenix demanding to have Storm and Shadow. The two had been so used to having four dogs in the house that it had taken them a while to get used to not hearing loud barks and nails scrapping in the wood floors along with Farley and Drift's.

"Ugh, I miss Shadow and Storm" Evelyn whined as they climbed the car and Chris our both their older dogs in the back seat

"We'll see them soon" Chris said as he got in the driver's seat after closing the back door

"Yeah in three weeks" she huffed

"We can go sooner if you want love" he said and she looked at him in the mirror and smiled

"I'd like that" she said and he nodded

"Then we'll go during the weekend when you're not filming to get them" he said

"Sounds like a plan"
