6- disguise

Clary's POV-

Father came up to Jonathan and I as we were training, he had found out about Simon, he wasn't too happy but then again he almost never is, but he accepted him.

He walked in front of us, "I need to get into Alicante, but I need to be able to get information, I am going to send you 2 in, you will be Sebastian Verlac and Eleanor Verlac, Sebastian is cousins to the Penhallows and I made up Eleanor, but she will be Sebastian's Mothers unknown child, nobody knows she was born, Patrick Penhallows never liked following rules, he was in the circle but left, I imagine his sister has the same beliefs of rules. Eleanor doesn't like to talk about being the mistake though so don't talk about it to much, act how you want but not too much like yourself, Jonathan, I am sending you to meet up with Sebastian, he is representing the France institute." Father went on for a while when he asked any questions I asked what was on my mind "Father, if this meeting is being called because of you, why do you keep meeting with demons that tell the shadowhunters you are alive?"

He smiled "because my dear Clarissa, I have inflicted fear, not only that, the clave are so predictable, they have brought everyone together for me, I just need the demon towers shut down by you, and I can show them the full wrath of the Morgensterns"

I smile at his plan, as does Jonathan, he is so cunning, either that or the clave has the collective intelligence of pineapple, I believe both intertwined is what answers that.

"Now go children, don't forget, Clary tell Sebastian who you are, so that he can tell his friends from the France institute you are going with him to Idris, learn how he acts for you will need to mimick it, but nobody from Alicante has seen him in years so you should be okay, then Jonathan, you go and take his place, dispose of him however you would like, then off to Idris, befriend the Lightwoods and Penhallows, take down the demon towers and let the fun begin my children.

Now go, I am relying on you, do me proud, and do not fail"

Jonathan and I left vowing to do this, make our father proud, do not fail.

Clary was given a picture of Sebastian Verlac to work off as she drew what she thought Eleanor would look like, slightly large nose, dark long thick hair, she had a slim figure and average height and afew different things like blue eyes and thin eyebrows that she had thought could come from the unknown father. She was finished and she glamoured herself to look just like her drawing. We figured she would be older than Sebastian, because she could say Sebastian's parents were not married when she was born. She was older by about 2 years, she was about 19. She looked a bit more mature aswell.

She looked as good as she could get, she stuffed the picture into a bag and set off to the living room.

Jonathan was glamoured in a casual disguise, "ready?" I asked as I drew a portal to a pub in France, "ready" Jonathan said back as we stepped through.

We saw the boy with black hair and dark eyes sitting at the bar, so I went to sit with him, going along with the plan. I put on a fragile expression but happy aswell.

"H-hi are you, Sebastian Verlac?"

He turned around and smiled, I pretended to relax a little bit. "Yeh that's me, how can i help you?"

"I have been looking for you, my name is Eleanor, I'm a shadowhunter aswell."

"Okaay" he said

I took a deep breath "I'm also your kind of half sister"

"Haha very funny" he said sarcastically

"I'm not joking, my name is Eleanor Verlac, our mother is the same, our fathers are different, I was born before our mother had you, or even met your father. She didn't tell you or your father about me, I was sent off to live my father who is now dead, ever since he died I have been searching for you."

He looked at me, "so I have a half sister I was never told about?"

"Yes"

"I guess I can see the resemblance, we could be twins if it weren't for your eyes!"

"Haha yeh!"

we continued talking for quite awhile, all this nice happy stuff was killing me but I kept it up.

Once we had started talking, I noticed Jonathan came and sat beside Sebastian, memorizing how he acts and talks.

Soon enough, he got up and left and I knew it was time for me to go too, just afew details," so, when are you going to Idris?"

"Tomorrow night, there is going to be a portal at the river side afew meters down from here" he said smiling, thank you for telling me.

"Have you heard of that Eluthied demon lurking around? Do you want to help me hunt it?" I asked him slyly.

After he agreed, we walked out the bar and found and killed the demon, when we turned around, I said I had to leave, I asked for his phone so I could put my number in and I gave him mine.

As he handed me his phone, I reached for my dagger and cut his hand then plunged it into his stomach, "Hey I'm Clarrissa Morgenstern, nice to meet you, you idiotic nephlim" I smiled as I let my glamour fall, his eyes went wide as he realised what he had told us before they went blank.

I felt a hand on my shoulder so I whipped around, "good work little sister, Father will be proud."

I helped him glamour into Sebastian and then looked through his phone and found the Paris institutes number, "we cant wait until he called and told them I was coming along Tommorow, so we take things into our own hands, isn't that right my dear brother"

He just smiled "of course little sister"

I clicked the number and gave it to Jonathan, "His aunts name is Elodie" I said before she picked up

"Hello auntie Elodie! Would you be able to contact the clave and tell them that I have a...friend named Eleanor, coming with me Tommorow to Idris, so don't be alarmed, she will be staying with me with the Penhallows, if you could contact them aswell to tell them of my little...plus one"

There was a bit more talking and then Jonathan hung up and slipped the phone into his pocket. "Well we have our tickets and accommodation, let's go."

we headed off to find where the portal was then headed home.

I called Simon

"Hey Simon how's babysitting the Lightwoods going?"

pretty average, Isabelle is...nice though

I do not! Watch what you say or I won't watch them anymore

haha yes you will, mainly because of my father and Jonathan and me, and we can't forget Iiiissssaaaabbbbeeeeelllllleeeee

whatever Clary, oh and I have actually befriended them, I am going with them to Idris

well finally you have been watching them for ages now (inside I was thinking this is NOT good, Simon doesn't know we will be there!)

yeh it's gonna be pretty fun, I'm staying with them

yeh sounds cool, I wish father would let us out, oh Simon, I'm going to need to borrow your glamour ring for a while, I want to see if I can make it better.

uh sure ok, I will leave it on the bottom step in the left corner of the institutes front steps in that little hole we made

sounds good thanks Simon, I have to go, have fun in Idris and tell me all about it later.

sure bye Clary and say hey to Johnny for me!

I hung up, Simon can't know we are there, nobody can, we have a job to do, and we cannot fail.

Hey guys! I'm sorry I made Clary kill Sebastian and it makes her look evil but it had to be done. She has demon blood and I'm failing a little bit at making her evil so I had to do something.
