I'M SO SORRY!! I haven't updated in months and I am so sorry! *dodges objects thrown from angry readers* I read the books a while ago and can barely even remember what went on so yeah and I've lost motivation a little and I'm writing other books but I saw how much the views and stuff have gone up and knew I needed to write you guys another chapter because honestly you are so amazing! Unfortunately, I think I might have to wrap this book up soonish but there will be some Clace beforehand I swear. Unless I can get it rolling again of course, but keep reading and I hope you like it and can help share this book with other TMI fans! Reading back through this I only just realised how much I changed POVs in this book, Jfc I'm so sorry it's probably really confusing! But I'm doing it again so deal with it I guess?

Sebastian POV-
I left Jace and father standing there and ran towards the door, I heard my father follow me soon afterwards. The door slammed against the wall as I flung it open and scanned the space frantically, looking for Clary.
"Clary!!" I sounded panicked and...scared? no, certainly not scared, I am just unable to think of a suitable word to express this feeling, but I could feel my heart pounding against my chest erratically, I can't loose her.
I was about to take off down the hall when a firm hand gripped my arm, I spun around to face my father's serious expression. How could he be so calm about this?
"Clarissa isn't herself at the moment Jonathan, you must be wary. Slowly, we must restrain her before we can actually do anything." I took a deep breath,
"Of course father" I put on my stony-faced facade once again and concentrated properly. Thats when I heard it, the sound of laboured breaths, pounding heartbeat and... growling. Clary was almost gone.
Father suddenly pushed passed me and started moving towards the sound with silent footsteps. He had taken out a seraph blade, ready for anything and I soon copied his actions as I followed behind him.
We walked into the large dining room, decorated with old fashioned furniture and had large draped windows facing the front of the house.
Clary's head whipped violently towards us and she crouched down, baring her teeth. Her eyes were obsidian black, I struggled to find her light, but I knew it was still in there. She could never become like me, it just couldn't happen.
"Where is he?" she asked in a dangerously low voice. She turned her head back out the window, searching for something.
"We moved, he is back where we were before" Valentine spoke in a cool voice. "You cannot hurt him"
Her head turned slowly back to us this time, thats when I saw it, I saw the gold shine to the darkness that was her eyes. They looked sad. Guilty. Clary, even in this predicament, felt remorse for hurting Jace.
"I hurt him?" she asked as her eyes started slowly coming back to normal. "Why am I like this?!" she yelled angrily.
"WHY?" she ripped down the thick drape and shredded it. Her eyes were no longer making progress, but were going deeper yet again.
She turned around so we could only see her hunched and heaving back. She was getting worse.
I looked at father who noticed my movement and looked eyes with me, nodding. I started moving silently towards her, stopping when she picked up a glass vase and smashed it on the floor. She continued doing so to other breakable objects before I wrapped my arms around her waist and trapped her arms by her side.
Thats when she started thrashing. She roared in rage and thrashed harder. It was getting more difficult for me to restrain her and my grip was slowly loosening, if I was unable to hold her for long enough, she would attack.
I tried to think of something to calm her down, but nothing was coming to my head except frantic thoughts. Then I remembered the catalyst to this madness. Jace.
"Clary? Hey, Jace is ok. Jace is fine" it did nothing, she just kept going. She can't be past the tipping point yet surely.
"You didn't hurt Jace, Clary. He wouldn't want to see you like this would he? Clary! Jace needs you to snap out of this! He needs you Clary! I need you!" nothing was working.
I felt a slight shift in her demeanour but she was still fiercely thrashing. Finally, father came into view from around the corner and pulled out a large syringe.
"Father." I said in a warning tone, he just gave me a look that silenced me and kept proceeding towards the window that Clary was staring out of before. Clary was facing the other way and was too enraged to notice father even entering the room.
"Turn her around again Jonathan" I was confused but spun her around to face him anyway, not daring to defy his orders. Thats when I saw what he was up to before, apparently, so did Clary.
She stopped, gazing out the window at the familiar surroundings, staring intently at the figure in the distance that was steadily getting bigger.
Soon, the blonde hair could be seen and the shadowhunter gear was visible and Clary relaxed when she could see his uninjured form. I heard a sigh and then i noticed movement to my left before I saw father stab the syringe into her arm and push the contents into her body. She went completely limp in my arms and I glared at my father. "What did you do to her?"
"She is in a comatose state, shouldn't be for too long, just long enough for me to test on her." He wantd to do more tests on her? It was his tests that started this whole thing!
"I should have let Jocelyn kill you a few days ago at lake lyn" I yelled, he whipped around.
"What are you talking about?" He sounded confused.
"She was down there to kill you Valentine." I spat out his name like poison. "She was going to kill you and I stopped her so you could finish the process, so you could raise the goddamn angel but no! You were so worried about her that you dropped everything and ran to her pathetic side! You didn't even notice me taking the instruments and running, too focused on your one sided little love story to even care about what was happening. I should have let her kill you so I could then summon the angel and I would rule over the entire race of shadowhunters and demons alike. With Clary by my side and you out of the way, a puny shadowhunter, practically mundane compared to your homemade abominations, we would be unstoppable! So now I will have to correct my mistakes. Time to die father. Make room for the new evil to ravage this world." I pulled out two blades and held them up, ready to pounce.
'WAIT! What about your sister? She will stay like this if I do not cure her"
"Good, she was always lacking that little bit of... motif. Wouldn't you agree?" I asked, smiling maliciously.
"You were always going to succeed me, I only hated you because I knew I would never be able to have full control over you. You were always my intended creation." He said before pouncing over Clary's body that was now on the floor and I deflected all of his advances.
"You think you actually stand a chance against me old man? I am half demon!" I caught his blade in an X with two of my own, then went up close to his face.
"You will never have control over me" I growled before moving as quickly as lightening as he grabbed out a new blade and made a jab for my chest.
"Is that the best you've got? If you are considered one of the best, the shadow hunters wont stand a chance."
We moved towards the stairs and I backed him up them until we were on the second landing and he was pressed against the banister railing.
"Where are you going to go now old man? You're practically dead" I sneered,
"I have a few tricks up my sleeve" he said with a cocky smirk that I had inherited over the years, he then flipped backwards over the railing and onto the first landing. I jumped over and landed next to him, I had landed a few blows but thats when I heard the loud smash. It distracted me long enough for him to stab me in the stomach and bolt for the door, disappearing through it as I stumbled to where clary once was.
There was an empty space where she lay and the carpet in front of the front facing window was covered in shards of glass, I looked out the hole that once was the window and saw Clary running unsteadily towards the other blonde figure.
I roared in anger and kicked over the lounge chair, they had all gotten away!
I was alone.

*PLEASE READ, IMPORTANT*
Again, I am so sorry for not updating and I can't promise to get better because I dont know if I will.
I would like to ask you guys which kind of book I should post. I have been writing a few different ones and was wandering what would be the most sought after thing. Each of my books has an element of magic in them so I have:
-Old fashioned, girl gets chosen to become 'queen' of her world but still magical
-identity-less assassin escapes jail and others try to find out who it is through their 'communications girl' elements of fantasy
-Girl that can see souls starts new school, meets a badboy with no soul/dark soul. Magical elements
-Werewolf fanfic
-Last of the devils angels accidentally creates werewolves and is trying to balance her life on earth as a supposed to be evil angel and a 'moon goddess' of a race

Let me know which ones you think I should start publishing! Would be really greatful, or any other ideas that you have for other books or this one, that would be great too. Thank you guys so much, I love you!
Bells xx
