When Bad Meets Worst

Something Fishy

"So how was your weekend?" Max asked as we walked to the Math's room.

"It was.... adventurous, Asher and I destroyed the schools property. How was your trip to the grandparents?"

"It was good, could have been better if you were there, Grandpa kept asking when you were coming to visit and when did Asher become your partner in crime"

"I'll visit them soon I promise" Walking in Max and I headed to the back of the room and took our seats as class started. Twenty minutes later I heard the door open and in walked Asher with his buddies, Benjamin Brooks, Fernando Francisco and Bernando Francisco.

"Ah Mr. Black how lovely for you and your companions to join us"

"The pleasure is ours" Benjamin said which earned him a glare from Mr. Banks.

"Just sit down and don't disrupt the rest of my class"

Out of the corner of my eyes I saw my bag being moved from the empty seat at the side of me as Asher sat there.

"Psst skater girl, mind briefing me on what the old oak tree is saying"

"Can you shut up? Unlike you some of us are actually willing to learn" During the rest of the class I zoned Asher out because failing was not an option in my book.

Heading to our regular seat in the cafeteria Max and I began to eat. Today's menu was nuggets and fries.

"So I saw you made a friend earlier" Max giggled.

"I swear he's like a virus you can't get rid of"

"Speaking of said virus he's heading this way with the guys as we speak"

Placing his tray beside me Asher sat while the others filled the empty chairs around us. Heads turned in our direction like this was the most interesting thing in the room.

"What are we talking about skater girl?"

"Number one my name is Alex not skater girl, number two are you lost because your seats are at the center of the room and to answer your question none of your business"

"Oh man she's good, Asher finally found the right girl" Bernando said as the other three chocked on their laughter while Asher and I shared a look of disgust.

Oh boy this is going to be a long lunch.

Finishing my chores and taking out some cereal I heard the doorbell ring.

"I got it" shouted Justin as he opened the door.

"Austin, Alex, Cody get in here" shouted Nick

Entering into the living room I spotted my parents with the guys.

"Dad, Mom what are you guys doing here?" asked Cody

"Have a seat" Dad said

Sitting down on the single couch I started to eat my cereal while mother gave me a disapproving look. Like if I'm not eating to eat my cereal because she's here.

"Your mother and I are here to tell you that we are all invited to Mr and Mrs Black's residence on Saturday around 6 pm for his birthday. You all are to be dressed properly and Alex please wear a dress. Now let's order dinner and spend some family time" Ha like that's going to happen.
