Lifting me off the ground dad held me out as I placed the star on the Christmas tree, yep you heard right we were decorating a tree in the middle of April, thanks to Vladimir and his baboons my family and I missed Christmas. I know I'm supposed to be angry at Vladimir for everything he did to me, but I'm not, in a really weird and painfully way he brought my family together, for over twelve years our family Christmas consisted of my brothers, Max, myself and Jen who came in eight years later, now my parents and grandpa are reunited in our cabin once more for Christmas.

Tapping his glass lightly my father got everyone's attention "Okay I just need everyone's attention for a little, first off I would like to thank the Black's and the Haywood's for joining us in our late Christmas celebration, I would also like to thank the guys who bear with my energetic daughter...." 'More like psychopath daughter' Quinn shouted from near the fire, earning a few chuckles and a playful death glare from me.

"Come on Quinn, now you're head is going to be on the platter" Dad said with a chuckle pulling mom closer to him "Anyway, most of all I would like to thank my family for being here, I know I've messed up a lot these past few years, it shouldn't have taken my princess captures to bring us together, I've neglected my sons, daughter and wife for too long, which was the worst mistake of my life but I intend to fix that mistake, so from this day forth I promise to be the husband, father........ and son I was before this madness happened, Jen I know I'm late but welcome to the Stone family, I know we all have faults but I'm sure one fault that will never overcome us again will be separation" Dad finished while mom cried in his arms.

"You do know we need to tell our families about us right?" Asher said twirling a wet lock of my hair as we sat on the sofa wrapped in a blanket

"I know, it's just..... weird, it's not like we can walk in an announce that Asher Black and Alex Stone are in a relationship" I said rubbing my temples while his laughter echoed in the cave.

"Actually we can, but I was thinking about telling them on the day of our graduation" he said pulling me closer

"That sounds good but, how are we going to explain our relationship" I asked standing up and looking into the water, pulling Asher up as quickly as possible I pushed him under the bed

"Skater girl....."

"Shush, my grand....."

"Alex, what are you doing" Grandpa asked as he climbed out of the water

"Hey, grandpa, what are you doing here?" I asked standing up, trying to act natural

"I thought I'd come visit our Rifugio" he said shrugging his shoulders "So back to my question"

"I just came here to....... Think" I wasn't completely lying

Sitting on the edge of the bed he motioned for me to join him "You do know that you'll forever be my little Chaplin and I love you dearly" he asked looking at me, nodding my head he continued "And if that boy thinks he's going to use you and leave you broken hearted..... you can promise him I will assist your brothers in collateral damage" choking on air I started "Grandpa what are you......"

"Alex, silence" Looking at him as he stood from the bed he walked around where Asher was "Boy, get out here" he said which Asher complied to "Are you sure this is what you want" he asked Asher, looking him in the eye

"Yes sir" Asher answered without hesitation

"If I ever find my little Chaplin hurt because of you...... I know I may be old but I can still kick your scrawny butt, do you understand" he asked

"Yes sir" Asher said nodding his head

Turning to face me he took my hands in his "Alex, sometimes I wish I could stop you from getting older but life will not permit...... you may be my grand baby but that doesn't mean I won't let you off easily" he said with a sigh "Come you two, it's getting late"

"Mind if I join?" I asked Austin as he sat at the edge of the pool, shrugging his shoulders I took that as an invitation. Ever since Austin stormed out of my hospital room he hasn't been himself

"Soooo........ what are you doing down here, all alone" Once again he just shrugged his shoulders "You do know I'm not going to leave until you answer my questions" I said which was meet by silence "Fine if you won't talk then I will, ever since I came back home all you said to me was nothing, I've talked to Cody and Jen who both told me you've been acting weird, hell, even Ben asked what was up with you" I said as angry tears formed in my eyes "I miss my brother Austin, he may be really annoying and eats every edible thing I own but he was way more fun and loveable unlike the cold hearted turd you turned out to be" I said looking at his face which was void of any emotions "Does Erica......."

"Do not say her name ever again Alex, you should learn to hold your tongue, whatever and however I choose to be, does not concern you" Austin said rising to his feet walking away from me, sitting I looked into the pool as the tears raced down my face, gain three lose one.
