"Charles I should have been there for her, I should have taken my place as her mother, I should have....." my mother said voice cracking

"Charlie you didn't know, we didn't know, we thought we were doing what's best for her by staying away and treating her like a stranger instead of our daughter" dad said trying to calm her

"I'm her mother, I was supposed to be with her through thick and thin, I wasn't even there for my little boys" she replied breaking down into loud sobs

Damn right you were I wanted to tell her but the darkness once again over took me.

Feeling a large pair of ruff hands clasped my much smaller ones the person started to rub their thumbs in a circular motion

"My little Chaplin....... If you can hear me, I want you to know I'm sorry I made you believe I was dead, I know I brought you so much pain........ the day of my funeral I saw how you clung to Nick and cried your tiny gumdrop eyes out, I wanted to take you into my arms and tell you that everything will be alright, that I'm always here for you but I couldn't......... I had to leave before I let my emotions overcome me causing me to blow my cover, a few days later I received news that Vladimir took you, I tried to go after you but my team wouldn't allow it, but that was the worst mistake I made, this time thou no one could have stopped me"

Why, was the only word that appear in my mind

"Grandpa, can the guys and I have a few minutes with her, visiting time is almost over" Cody asked

"Sure son" Placing a kiss on my forehead I heard the door close

"Hey dwarf, how are you today?" Nick asked

"Any improvement from the last two weeks" Austin asked

Wait, what does he mean by that "Austin Jacob Stone" okay this is really getting on my nerves, move or say something dam it, oh wait I can move two fingers.

"Guys did you see that" Cody asked with a confused voice

Great out of the four people in the room Cody was the only one to see that. Come on Alex you can do it again

"What are you blabbering about.... Wait she moved her fingers" Justin said, finally

"Sirs visiting hours are over" said a woman

"So your point is" Cody asked

"You need to...."

"Leave? Yea I don't think so, that girl lying there is a victim of 209A and she's also my sister" Nick said

"Sir I'm sorry to hear that but unless you have a...."

"Detective Stone" Nick said and I'm assuming he pulled out his badge

With a 'hum' the nurse (I think) walked away. Come on Alex open your eyes, feeling my eyes slightly flutter I pushed even harder. Big mistake

"Can you guys dim the light?" Were the first six words out my mouth.

"Bloody hell Alex" Cody said as he rushed to huge me, but was pulled back by Justin

"Idiot, we don't want her in another coma" Austin said pointing to my stitches

"How long was I M.I.A" I asked

"About three weeks" Cody answered "And may I just say that was the most quiet and peaceful days I'll ever have" he finished with a goofy smile

"Were my injuries bad" I asked kind of freaked out

"Oh it wasn't that bad, you were just dehydrated, had couple broken bones, your back had... let's not get into that, your blood....."

"Okay I don't need you to complete your report on my health" I said to Justin who just shrugged

"Um.... What about...."

Before I could have finished Nick answered "He's dead and the rest of his pathetic gang are in jail"

Looking at Austin I asked "What about Erica"

"She's missing" Nick answered clenching his jaw

"Thank god she escaped" I said under my breath but Nick somehow heard

"What do you mean by 'thank god' the bit... witch kidnapped you" Austin said rage in his eyes

"Yes she kidnapped me, but she also helped me" Looking at me Nick motioned with his head for me to continue "Before grandpa found me she helped me escape my torture chamber, she stayed behind to protect me" Rising from the chair Austin stormed out the room slamming open the door

"I'll go talk to him" Justin said leaving the room

"And I'll go get the doctor" Cody said

"Nicky, please don't go after her, she saved me" Looking at me with cold eyes he shook his head "Please Nicky" I asked well more like begged

"Fine, I'll see what I can do but I'm not making any promises" he said with a sigh

Hugging him lightly he kissed my forehead.
