When Bad Meets Worst

Halloween came faster than expected but who cares I loved it, not because it's my birthday but because of the decorations and candy and dressing up and don't forget candy. Hanging the last spider up Cody helped me down from his shoulders.

"You know for a tiny person you sure weigh a tone"

"Oh shut up have you looked in a mirror lately?"

"Wow, wow, wow this is pure perfection. Have you seen these abs?" he asked while raising his t-shirt.

"More like flab's but if it helps you sleep at night sure we'll call it abs" Ruffling my hair he walked pass me into the house.

Nicky and Jen weren't home, Austin and Justin were at Ben's preparing for their party so Cody and I were in charge of decorating the house not that I mind but now I was really tired. I know what you're thinking 'why didn't they decorate earlier instead of Halloween morning' well we like to leave the best for last. Falling onto my bed I tried to get a snooze but fate likes to play mean jokes so in came my hyper friends.

"Alex get that lazy butt of yours out of bed" Maddie said as she swooped down to play with handsome

"Why are you guys here so early and how did you get I looked the front door"

"Getting dress takes time and you gave us both, keys to your house" Max replied smartly

Sometimes I regret making friends with these two and before you ask, let me fill you in.

"Hold still I'm almost finished with your face"

"Bend you head a little so I can finish your hair" Were Max's and Maddie's orders.

"Your house looks really good. You should see my place, your brothers and Ben are going all out for this party, I'm glad I'm not home but you guys have to get me there by seven."

"I thought you were sleeping over" I asked while Maddie and Max shared a look

"Um change of plans she has to be home because um well.........."

"My ferret um juicy died" Maddie finished for Max.

"But you don't have a..... never mind let's go down and share some candies"

Finding somewhere to park proved difficult, I know we were here to drop Maddie off but apparently she was afraid of the dark even thou there were lights on. Something was definitely fishy about this.

"I know I don't go to parties but isn't the place supposed to be noisy?"

"Maybe they are telling scary stories" Max answered which Maddie shook her head to.

"Well here we are, we'll catch up on the 5th"

"No" shouted Max and Maddie

"I mean walk me to my room"

"What are you both up to?"

"Nothing Maddie just looks really scared and you're the brave one among us" Max said trying to bride me over

Rolling my eyes Maddie opened the door and we walked in, the place was dark and foggy something was definitely up. Hearing the door slam I turned around to see who it was but the place was dark and void of anyone turning back around I found myself alone when suddenly a rough hand was placed over my mouth. Biting down on the person hand I freed myself and pulled out my Swiss army knife but before I could do anything the lights were turned on and everyone came out of their hiding spots shouting surprise. I am sure my facial expression was horrible.

"I knew you were mixed with animal" was the first thing Nick said as he came closer and hugged me "Happy birthday sis"

"You're back"

"He still lives with us dwarf of course he's back" Justin said as he hugged me while Cody ruffled my hair.

"I wasn't going to miss your birthday and I'm happy you're put my teaching to use but next time please don't bite me"

"I didn't know, it was dark"

"Sure you didn't" Austin replied

"Now kids enough fighting" Jen said as she playfully pushed Nick away and hugged me "Your gifts are in the basement at home and you look horrible"

Laughter erupted from our group.

Later on that night I found myself walking towards the pond where I found Asher sitting at the edge.

"Hey stranger, how come your out here all alone"

"Hey, I'm not really in the mood for a party" He said without looking away from the water

"That doesn't sound like the Asher Black I know, mind if I sit with you"

"Sure" Silence then fell between us.

"Alex, Nick's ready to go" Jen said

"I'll be right there" As I started to rise Asher took my hand pulling me back down.

"I'm sorry"

"What?"

"About Jessica and ever thing else"

"It's okay I guess" I said in a confused voice because I know there was more to it than he was saying.

Handing me a little black box he started "Happy birthday skater girl"

As I was going to open it he stopped me "Wait until you get home and before I forget, you look stu..."

"I know stunning" I finished off for him before walking away

"I wasn't going to say that" he shouted as I entered the house.

Later that night or morning I laid in bed opening the little black box Asher gave me, taking out the silver bracelet I studied it, it had one fish charm with a single black stone while the other charm was a book with an icy blue stone, only you Asher Black, only you. Placing it on my wrist I then fell fast asleep.

My fellow wattpadians, I bring to you another unedited chapter. I know Halloween was on the 31st of October but..... I have no idea why I wrote it, anyhow I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
