When Bad Meets Worst

Peanuts

 Food. Warm arms engulfed me as we fell backwards, groaning we rose up and ran towards the maze, yes there is a huge maze that leads to a forest in my parents back yard.

"We'll wait a minute until the guard goes back inside then jump over the wall where my bike is waiting" Looking at him as if he had grown a pair of wings and proclaimed to be named Michael the archangel I shook my head

Helping me over the fence (and mind you it wasn't as easy as it sounds) we took off towards wherever this mad hatter had planned for us.

"You smell like peanuts" I told Asher as we sat opposite each other in a little booth.

"I threw peanuts at your window that's maybe why I smell of them" Laughing I placed my order as the waiter wrote it down

"Do you remember you promised to carry me for food anytime once I left you on harmed?"

"Unfortunately I do" Asher said shaking his head

"Oh Stanley look at the cute couple, remember when we use to look young and happily in love" an old lady asked her husband

"Yes my dear now we are old and still happily in love" turning to Asher he said "Son never let that smile and glow leave your lady's face as long as you live and even when you aren't there anymore leave her something that will still make her happy" the old man said pointing to me

"I will sir" Asher answered will a solemn expression.

Quietly eating I avoided Asher eyes as it wandered over my face. Okay this is getting creepy now.

"You know I was just being polite" he said after some time of creepy staring and silence

"What"

"When the man told me to keep you happy, I didn't want to squash his thoughts" he said shrugging his shoulders "Besides you'll never know when I'll need that advice"

"Hmmm, change of topic, how did you get through the gates" I asked

"The guards let me in, I told them that I came to drop of some papers for you"

"And were exactly are those papers?" asked a voice behind me

Turning around I saw Quiet and Speechless with their hands folded. Busted

"Speechless, what are you guys doing here?"

"Funny you should ask because right now we are missing a young girl matching your description" Taking me by the arm he pulled me out of the booth.

"Hands of her buddy, if you're looking for someone to blame, blame me. I was the one who took her" Asher said standing up looking Quiet in the eyes.

"Guys, can I just get a minute" Looking at me they shook their heads "I promise one minute and I won't run" Walking out they left me with Asher not before muttering a few unpleasant words

"At least we had fun"

"Yes we did, you sure you'll be alright when you leave" he asked not breaking eye contact

"Yea, those guys may look tough but they are like fluffy bears once you get to know them"

Pulling out a little black box he took my hand and placed a little peanut charm on the bracelet. Raising his head he looked back into my eyes. Darn it why does he have such icy blue eyes why couldn't it be a repulsing color and why does his cheekbones have to be so......

Releasing my hand he broke eye contact "You should go before they come back in here looking like raging wolves"

"Um, yea, I should...... um"

That's all you're going to say, come on mouth move say something, but instead of my mouth my foot started to move and more precisely towards the door way.

Seriously the guy holds your hand and looks you into the eyes and that all it took for your brain to go mushy.

Oh shut up, why didn't you say something instead?

I would if I could but..........

"Alex what the bloody hell were you thinking" Speechless asked

"She wasn't thinking" answered Quiet "You know if your Mother finds out about this we're all dead meat"

"So you're not going to tell her about this" I asked, not that I really cared what she says but I don't have the strength to tolerate her tonight.

Opening the front door I walked in, Quiet and Speechless I mean James and Ambrosi (yes I finally found out their real names) gave me an ear full while on our way home but not that I really cared because a certain blue eyed guy kept popping up in my head.

"Alexia where were you" my mother asked folding her hands while my father sat near the fire nursing a drink.

"I was out" I answered looking at her

"Where exactly" Dad asked without looking at me

"I was at the dinner getting a midnight snack" I answered shrugging my shoulders.

"That doesn't explain why you left without letting anyone know about your whereabouts and does it take five hours to get something to eat" my mother shouted

"Since when do you care?" I asked looking flabbergasted

"I am your mother and I have every right to know where you were"

Sarcastically laughing I answered "You're sure right you're just my mother but you were never my mommy which gives you no right whatsoever to question my......."

"Alexia Stone mind your tongue remember she is your mother whether you like it or not" Dad said smashing his glass to the floor.
