 Pulling on my gown and cap I raced through the empty hallways towards the auditorium with Cody behind me.

"Alexia Stone" I heard my name being called by Matty "Ms. Stone would you please join me on the stage" he said once again

"Alex, how the bloody hell did you forget what time your graduation starts" Cody asked as he ran beside me

"Shut up" I said pushing open the doors, feeling the curious stares on me I straightened my gown and walked up to the stage to receive my certificate

"Ladies and Gentlemen may I present to you the very late Ms. Stone" Matty said handing me the certificate while laughter and applauds rang out from the crowd. Walking down I took my seat near Max.

"Do I want to know?" She whispered beside me

"Um maybe, I'll tell you later" I said to her as the valedictorian gave his speech

Okay Alex you can do this, just come clean and tell everyone, it's not like you murdered anyone besides Asher.........

"Alex and I are dating" Asher shouted from the end of the table looking straight at me, causing dad to choke on his drink and Mr. Black to drop his glass of brandy, getting up from her seat mom walked over to Mrs. Black as they both embraced each other and started to squeal like teenage girls

"Um.....Ashton....uh Asher....... How did, how is......" Mr. Black struggled for words as he looked at his son

"Dad, are you okay" I asked looking at his pale face

"Oh darling, stop acting as if you didn't know this would happen" Mom said walking over to him, patting his shoulder as she walked over to Max and Maddie

"Yes I know but she's our little baby princess......... boys he's taking our girl" dad said to my brothers who just simply continued their card game

"Charles, get over yourself" Grandpa said sipping his drink

"No, no, I um..... I understand Charles, Asher what where are you thinking, no that's it you weren't thinking , you could have asked her dad before you go blurting things out, didn't I tell you how I wooed your mother and her parents........ well son it was nice knowing you" he said taking another glass of brandy downing it in a one

Going over to him I took his hand leading him outside on the balcony "Dad, listen......"

"I know you're not going to get married or anything like that but princess..... this is something big for me, you're still my baby girl, I just got you back Alex" he said pulling me in for a hug

"Dad, a daughter may outgrow your lap but she'll never outgrow your heart and let's just say that I stupidly decide to get a family of my own, which I won't, there'll just be more of me for you to love" I said pulling away from him "So get this in your head, like it or not I'll always be there in your life"

Sighing he placed a kiss on my forehead "I love you princess, I'm going inside to scare the crap out of that guy and probably lay down a few rules" Well at least the cats are out the bag, that wasn't so bad

"Do you think you've got time for your cold hearted turd of a brother" Austin said from behind me

"Yea I've got time but only if he stops acting like a cold hearted turd" I answered

"I'm sorry"

"Sorry about what" I asked trying to make my voice cold and void

"Alex...... Erica and I, we made a huge mistake that jeopardized a lot of things and one of those things were you, I thought she was different from the others but I was wrong" he said walking closer to me "I should have known....."

"You couldn't have known what she would have done Austin, besides she was kind of..... forced to help them" I said leaving out some major parts "And even thou she did what she did, there's no need to place us all in the same category. Austin we're here for you and even if you don't feel like telling the guys or our parents about your problems...... just know that I'm always ready to hear and help you in any way I can, just please don't go back to being cold, be the fun, warm, annoying brother that helps me steal Cody's stash of chocolates" I said placing my hands on his cheeks

"You have my word Dwarf, now let's go home, last I heard Cody hid another stash recently" he said with a wicked glint in his eyes, look out Cody here we come.
