After eating our apples, we played in the lake for a little longer before being told by the pilot who was just chilling around that it was time to leave. So, we tried to dry off as best as possible without a towel before walking back. Dusk was approaching, so we needed to get to the helicopter before the sun set.
Thankfully, we got back before it got dark, so we took our time buckling up and getting safe for our ride back. We even put on helmets. It was just a joke, we did put them on, but we didn't actually wear them for a lot of time. The pilots had to set down fabric so that we wouldn't get their seats wet. When the actual pilot saw us approaching soaking wet, you could see his face turn to annoyment. Alkai and I looked at each other and just burst into laughter. We had to stop walking and laugh. you could tell the pilots wanted this night to be over. After getting buckled, we ascended into the air. The sun still had not set, so I watched the sunset with Alkai and his head on my shoulder. I must have fallen asleep after the sunset because I wake up on Alkai, who's shaking me awake telling me we're here. I get up, off him and realize that yes indeed, we are back.
"What time is it?" I ask Alkai.
"About 11," he informs me.
We have to wait for the pilots to shut down the helicopter, then they come and unbuckle us. I jump down this time not falling into Alkai's arms. He laughs, clearly remembering last time.
"Darn, I wanted to catch you!" he says.
"To bad!" I say. "I'm going up to my room and going to bed!"
"I'll walk you to your room," he tells me.
He really walks me to my room. We walk in silence, though.
"Thanks for the fun evening! I'm glad we didn't go skydiving!" I tell him, laughing.
Before I go in, I kiss him. He blushes, and I slip into my room before he realizes that I did.
I take a nice warm shower, hoping that I won't get sick because of the cold water and the cold weather. It was nice and warm, and I'm tempted to order a hot chocolate before going to bed, but I don't.
I brush my teeth, wash my face, pull on PJs, and jump into bed. Literally. Then, I have to get off the bed to untuck the covers and get under them. After much trouble - you'd think I'd be able to do this because it's easy, but I was super tired - I finally get into bed. I toss and turn, but soon enough fall asleep.

"So," Lindsey says to me on our way to breakfast. "you weren't at dinner last night. Neither was Alkai. What'd you do for your date? I want to be the first to know!"
"You really went on a date with him?!?!" Penny asks me, and I nod.
"Ok," I say. "he cornered me on my way to dinner and took me to the helicopter outside. We flew for like an hour, and he took me to the woods. There was a big tree that we set up a picnic at and a lake. He dared me to jump in even though it was cold, and so he did but pushed me in as well..."
I tell them everything that happened, and they take in every last word.
"Wow!" Penny says.
"That's awesome! You'll probably win!" Lindsey tells me.
"I don't want to hear that," I say, trying to ignore what she just said.
If I win, she and Penny die, and I don't want that to happen.
Heyo! I'm still listening and singing along to my Broadway songs, but I'm in a writing vibe! I'm not writing the last chapters tonight, though. Maybe tomorrow. Bye!!!
