The night have contained of pacing back and forth and cups and cups of coffee.
I have yet to hear from Veronica, I don't know why it worried me.
I left her once before, I didn't expect to do it again.

Veronica POV
I sat on the far end of the couch, I was fidgety, peeling away at my chipped black nail polish.

" Veronica, we all just want what's best for you" Adam was talking in a low voice
Adam always talked in a low voice, it was nerve wrecking.

"Veronica" Liam voice interrupted my thought process
I must look like a freak staring off into space , biting my lip like my life depended on it, tears swelling in my eyes as the thoughts come back.
I glanced over at him, between him and the two mystery girl they looked at me as if I had grown a third eye
"Veronica" he said once again in a concern tone
I sent a sympathetic smile
"This is Danielle (referring to the shy girl from earlier)and this is Heidi (referring to the girl from earlier at the door)"
"Veronica" I shook both of their hands, once Heidi had ahold of my hand, my sleeve slowly rolled up

"hey it's Sam, Devin took his oxygen mask off and ran, he not doing so well, he in surgery right now"

Heidi looked at me in a curious way while Danielle just looked as if she wanted to leave .
"I'll make us some breakfast" Liam quickly stated ,
