Sorry. We're too busy dying on our keyboards to write a proper introduction. Just end us now, thanks. That would be great.

NOTES

Zion Contreras

We've absolutely loved the storyline you've given us, and the amount of buildup has just had us at the edge of our seats, biting our nails. The way you write Zion makes him such an intriguing character that whenever we learn more about him we get goosebumps. This entry was no different here and getting to see Zion for who he really is after last task, after all of these entries that led up to this point—we're in love with him. The description was gorgeous, the flashback was well-written and the only complaint we have is we wish it was longer. The entry read short and while what we had in front of us was great, we really wished there would've been better pacing or more substance. Please stop depriving us of this amazing writing, thank you.

No substance because there was no entry. 0/10

Liz Regis

What really gets us is the fact Liz is written so realistically that it almost feels like if we look up her name, we'd find her profile on Linkedln. There's so much soul and passion to her that it shows in every paragraph, word for word, and it makes us want to read more every time. The amount of emotion that went into this entry was so raw, and her feelings over the loss of Henry and David was extremely vivid to the point that we felt like we were going through the same intensity with her. Seeing her kick a cultist's ass was definitely our favorite part but honestly, this was a strong entry overall. Our only nitpicks would be that we found certain sentences to be repetitive and the humanity message was a bit heavy-handed—though it integrated with the plot well so we'll give you a free pass on that.

Angela Belmont

The voice. Gosh, we love how vivid the character voice is. There's such a distinctive style to each entry that it's hard not to fall in love with the story and the way you write it. It's unique and it makes Angela stand out in a way that she's easily one of the most memorable characters. The tone of this entry was on point and similarly to your other entries, we found ourselves hooked from beginning to end with Angela's strong character voice and story. The part where she was in a dazed and delirious state repeating the word "sinner" while talking to a police officer was intense and we loved every second of it. However, we aren't going to deny that we felt like something was missing—it might've been the pacing but there was something a bit off about the cohesiveness that we can't quite put our finger on. Nonetheless, it didn't make us enjoy the entry any less than we did and we'd definitely read it again, any day of the week.

Vanity Morey

There was a point when we were reading this entry and we both started screaming because the dark tone and theme was everything we wanted when we decided to host a competition like this. It was a risky move writing something so disturbing and outright horrific but it paid off handsomely because you nailed it. The thought process, the murder of Cassandra, the scene with the police officers—there were so many high points in this entry that we don't even know where to begin. It was twisted, it was disturbing and we loved every moment of it. Potentially the only issue we had with was we wished there was a little more time spent editing. There was some awkward wording in certain sentences and a few grammar mistakes that weren't distracting but still prominent enough that we noticed. Also, the transition to the police showing up was a bit rushed but mended itself quickly—overall, great entry. End us.

Jack DeWalch

We love Jack. He's such a lovable character despite his shortcomings and you brought your A-game with the storyline and arc. Many of your entries read like chapters from a book and the cohesiveness is mind-boggling. We don't know how you do it but you've managed to write this convincing character who rips our hearts out yet keeps us engaged enough that despite all the pain, we'll keep reading. This writing here is powerful, compact with so much emotion and heart-wrenching one-liners with a plot that just... Ugh. We hate you. Jack is wonderful, his character growth is wonderful, his story is wonderful. The only thing slightly less wonderful and something we've noticed with previous entries too—your description tends to be long-winded and while that doesn't derail our overall enjoyment, it does make the entry seem longer than it is and certain details can seem unnecessary. Nevertheless, we loved this entry and rest in pieces, Abigail. Our hearts hurt.

After talking, grading, and then talking again, we've managed to pick our two byes. The two saved from elimination in order of byes given are listed as the following:

Jack DeWalch

Liz Regis

Congratulations to them, however, that also means we have to go through with the dreaded voting. We've made our cases for each of you and we'd be thrilled to see any one of you in the finale so please vote fairly and good luck to all.

The four facing elimination are listed as the following:
