IN FOURTH PLACE...
ZION CONTRERAS as written by @MyNameIsInigoMontoya
With his mysterious background and intriguing romance, we loved watching every puzzle piece slowly start to fit together to form not only a well-written storyline but an arc that always left us wanting more. A character shrouded in mystery and haunted by his past, words can't describe how proud we are to have had him in the finale.

IN THIRD PLACE...
JACK DEWALCH as written by @HannahFare
Despite a rough first task, Jack managed to rise from the bottom and eventually climb his way up to the top, becoming one of the toughest competitors to beat. With his emotional character arc that hit all the right notes when they needed to, his witty charm and soulful entries, he cruised on to finals with some of the highest scores of the competition. We aren't the least bit surprised he made it to finals and there's really not much we can say other than just... We love him.

IN SECOND PLACE...
LIZ REGIS as written by @Enchantresses
We don't even know where to begin. The realism, the emotion, the storyline--every part of Liz's entries from start to finish was memorable and impressive. She was one of the strongest contenders out of the gates and she kept the momentum all the way to the end. Liz not only provided us with a bittersweet arc that had a lot of soul but she wrote us these amazing relationships with Collins and Henry that were so heartfelt they practically felt right off of the page. Hands down one of our favorite characters and one that is more than deserving of her second place rank.

so that means...
IN FIRST PLACE
VANITY MOREY as written by @CAKersey
This was a rollercoaster from start to finish and every risk the author took paid off handsomely. She broke our hearts, left us horrified yet intrigued and she was a force to be reckoned with. Without a doubt, she was the epitome of what this competition was about and with her well-crafted storyline, her character development and just everything she wrote... It was impossible not to love Vanity Morey and everything she brought to the table. Just wow. That being said, we're proud to announce that she is the winner of Author Games: Red Room!
