Chapter 4

**Katharine’s POV**

“I still can’t believe we meet 5 Seconds of Summer!” Gill shouted.

“I can’t believe I actually talked to Calum!” Katey yelled.

“And I can’t believe your shouting when I’m standing right here!” I yelled at them.

"Well can you blame us? I mean you meet, talked to, and hung out with Luke Hemmings for crying out loud!" Gill howeled at me.

I just laughed at them, I was still really excited about it, but i guess because I've been talking to Luke since the night of the concert, it's kind of out of my system. Nah who am I kidding? It was amazing and I still can't get over it!

“Be quiet, the last thing I need is girls coming up to me and asking me questions about it.” I said trying to hold back the excitment in my voice as we walked along the shore line, we have some time before we have to go to work so we decided to walk on the beach. I loved the beach it’s my favorite place to be, it’s why I want to become a Marine Biologist.

Katey, Gillian and I just got jobs volunteering at Jenkinson’s Aquarium at Point Pleasant for the summer. I really wanted to do this so I can get an idea what it would be like to be a Marine Biologist. I was even more excited at the fact that Gillian and Katey got jobs there too so I wouldn’t be by myself. Katey and I both want to go for Marine Biology so this job is perfect for us, but Gill wants to go for Phycology, but she was happy to take the opportunity so we could hang out together this summer and actually have something to do. Gill just helps around where they need her help, either working in the gift shop or helping at the entrance with charging people at the door to enter the aquarium. While Katey and I actually get to help behind the scenes with feeding the animals, giving tours around the aquarium about each animal in the tank, help with care for them, research and perhaps even rescues if the aquarium is called for any.

“True, that would be really annoying.” Gill added. “But it’s still amazing what happened to us!”

“Well you’re welcome then because what happened to us wouldn’t have happened if those girls didn’t push me down.” I laughed.

“Speaking of what happened and meeting the boys . . .  how’s Luke?” Katey asked me with a teasing tone in her voice. “You haven’t been able to put your phone down since the concert.”

This was true for the past two weeks Luke and I haven’t stopped talking we have a lot in common. Plus it’s really nice to talk to somebody who’s actually interested in what you have to say. He’s really serious about wanting to have a relationship with me.

 “Good.” I giggled.

“Good? That’s all you can say!” Katey shouted. “Details girl, we need details!”

“Yeah what have you guys been talking about? Tell us about him!” Gill asked me grabbing my shoulders, and began to shake me.

“You mean form besides what we already know about him? I mean like come on you guys there are website about the guys and the basic things about them, you know that as much as I do.” I told them with a cocky tonet in my voice full well knowing they wouldn’t settle for that.

“Hmm, Katey do you smell that? It smells like bull shit!" Gill asked clearly getting annoyed by my actions to avoid the question. "Spill the beans girl, what has he told you?"

“Nothing.” I laughed and with that they were about ready to kill me.

“Then tell us!” they yelled at me now fully annoyed with me now.

“Ok. Ok.” I began, not being able to control my laughter from their reaction, “he has two brothers, Ben and Jack, they’re pure Australian and he’s an uncle.” I said. “He was in school until his junior year and then dropped out to be in 5 Seconds of Summer and he's really good at math and science. “
