"Alright guys, let's get down to business! First, let's welcome back Noah Puckerman," Mr. Schue said as some of the members of the New Directions clapped for him. Quinn however looked away. "Puck, I hope your time in juvie has taught you a lesson or two about right and wrong?" Mr. Schue said. "Are you kidding me? I ruled that place. All I did was crack skulls and lift weights all day," Puck said cockily. "Oh, what a catch, can't believe I ever let you go," Quinn said sarcastically rolling her eyes, still not looking Puck in the eye. Puck however tried to meet Quinn's eye but was met with Sam glaring at him as he did so. As Glee Club went on Quinn tried to stay focused on the lesson and not on the fact that Puck was back. The bell soon rang which made Quinn relieved, knowing she could get out of there.

Sam walked with Quinn knowing she didn't want there to be a chance that she would be left alone with Puck. "Thanks for walking me to my class," Quinn smiled a bit. "Of course. You know I'm here for you whatever you need," Sam said as he kissed Quinn quickly before heading off to his own class. What Quinn didn't realize was Puck had been in this class with her and walked into the classroom, going straight to Quinn. "You can't sit here," Quinn said annoyed as Puck took the seat next to her. "Sure I can. It's my first day back in class and I need to talk to you," Puck said. "There's nothing to talk about," Quinn shot back at Puck as he narrowed his eyes. "Oh really? Like how you're dating the new kid after I got shipped off to juvie?" Puck said annoyed. "Sam and I bonded after we did duets. He asked me out and I said yes. We've been dating for a few weeks now," Quinn said coolly as Puck didn't look pleased. "Glad you could forget about me so quickly," Puck shot at Quinn. "Like you did with Santana when you told me you loved me?" Quinn huffed as she grabbed her things. "Where you going?" Puck asked. "You might not have to move but I'm going to," Quinn said as she took a seat next to Mercedes who she was relieved to see in the class with her.

"You okay girl?" Mercedes asked as Quinn shook her head emotional. "I can't believe he's back...just when things were starting to be okay again," Quinn said somberly as Mercedes wrapped a supportive arm around her. "I know it's hard with Puck being back but think of the bright side, at least we can compete at Sectionals now," Mercedes said as Quinn nodded, Mercedes had a point. Quinn knew she had to focus on the good of the situation hoping the bad would soon fade away.

After school that day Quinn headed straight home ready for a quiet evening after the long day she had. "Quinnie, you look stressed. Is everything okay?" Judy asked her daughter worriedly as Quinn sighed, she knew she had to tell her mother sooner or later. "Puck is back. He got released from juvie and is back in school," Quinn said as Judy shook her head. "I never liked that boy," Judy said as Quinn sighed. "I know mom. Sam's doing all he can to make sure Puck stays away from me but it's hard we do have some classes together," Quinn said. "Well I'm glad that boyfriend of yours is taking care of you. He's great with Beth too. I think you two might have a real future," Judy told Quinn as Quinn smiled a bit. "I hope so," Quinn said as Judy kissed her daughter goodbye. "I've got to head to work. If you have any concerns at all, call me," Judy told Quinn seriously. "I will," Quinn nodded as Judy headed off to work.

Quinn walked over to the pack and play where Beth was sitting up. "Hey baby girl. Mommy missed you," Quinn smiled as Beth cooed at Quinn. "Ma," Beth grinned as Quinn's smile got bigger. Everytime her daughter called her 'Ma' it just made her happier. Just then there was a knock on the door. "I guess someone's here to see us hmm?" Quinn giggled as she went to answer the door only to see Puck standing there.

"What do you want Puckerman?" Quinn asked annoyed. "You told me I was welcome to come by to see my kid. That's what I'm here for," Puck said coolly as he tried to walk past Quinn who blocked him narrowing her eyes at him. "That was before you got yourself arrested. I can't have you around her when you don't even know how to behave yourself," Quinn said as Puck looked annoyed. "This is garbage Quinn and you know it!" Puck exclaimed. "Do I? Do I really? I'm just trying to protect my daughter. You're no longer welcome here Puck. You need to go," Quinn said as Puck huffed. "Fine. Don't think I'm not going to come back," Puck said annoyed as he left as Quinn sighed of relief.

It was true she had told Puck that he could come by but that was before he had gotten himself arrested. Quinn had her doubts with Puck prior to the arrest but it was his arrest that put the final nail in his coffin. Quinn couldn't help but tear up as she picked Beth up holding her close. "It's going to be okay baby. Everything is going to be okay," Quinn assured her daughter who didn't know anything about what was going on in the war between Sam and Puck over her mother's heart.
