Halloween fell on a Sunday that year which Quinn was looking forward to for a few reasons. She was excited to dress Beth up for her first halloween. Even though she probably wouldn't remember it, Quinn knew someday when they looked back on that first halloween it would be something to remember. She had decided to dress up with Beth in a mother/daughter costume. She had decided to go with Wilma and Pebbles from The Flintstones thinking it would be a cute thing to be matching. Little did she know what the Glee Club had planned for that night.

"Quinn!" Rachel called as Quinn turned around as Rachel handed her an invitation. "What's this?" Quinn asked. "You're invited to my Halloween Party this weekend! My dads and I are calling it "Rachel Berry's Spooktacular Halloween Party"," Rachel grinned. "I don't know if I can go Rachel. I was just going to take Beth trick or treating," Quinn said honestly as Rachel frowned. "You can bring Beth. It's not going to be a usual high school party. My dads are chaperoning to make sure it won't get out of hand. Besides I only invited the members of the Glee Club," Rachel said as Quinn thought about it. "Including Puck?" she asked. "Well yeah..." Rachel began as Quinn shook her head. "Sorry Rachel. If he's going to be there it means I won't be. Good luck with your party," Quinn said as she walked off leaving Rachel upset.

Sam approached her. "Did she just invite you to her party?" Sam chuckled a bit holding his invitation. "She did...but she told me Puck was going to be there so I declined," Quinn said honestly as Sam frowned. "You shouldn't let the fact that he'll be there ruin you having a good time with your friends," Sam said as Quinn sighed. "Ever since he got arrested I just don't want Beth around him. I don't want him to be a bad influence on her," Quinn said as Sam nodded. "Then I won't go either," Sam said. "You don't have to do that," Quinn said shaking her head. "If you're not going there's no reason for me to go. Besides, I'd rather spend Halloween with my two favorite girls," Sam smiled as Quinn kissed him. "Thank you," Quinn said. "Of course," Sam said as they held hands walking down the hallway together.

Sam rang Quinn's doorbell that Sunday dressed up like Luke Skywalker from Star Wars as Quinn answered the door in her costume. "Hi," she smiled. "You look incredible," he smiled back at her kissing her. "So do you," Quinn said as Sam entered her house as Quinn went to get Beth. "She looks adorable," Sam smiled as Quinn grinned back at him. "Thanks I picked out the costumes myself," Quinn chuckled as Beth cooed at Sam. "Hey Beth, you ready to go trick or treating?" Sam asked crouching down to Beth as she giggled. "I'll take that as a yes," Quinn said as she got Beth's stroller out and got it up before putting Beth in it as they went around to trick or treat.

"I know most people say we're too old to go trick or treating but it's still a lot of fun," Sam said as Quinn laughed. "I know what you mean. I think Beth likes it too, don't you?" Quinn smiled as Beth cooed happily. "Well she's getting a ton of candy that she can't even eat of course she's happy," Sam chuckled as Quinn shook her head as they approached Rachel's. "Do you want to just stop in and say hi?" Sam asked as Quinn thought about it. There couldn't be any harm in that. "Sure," Quinn said as they rang Rachel's doorbell. Rachel answered the door in her Sandy costume. "QUINN! SAM! You decided to come," Rachel beamed. "We just wanted to say hi," Quinn said as Rachel let them in with Beth. "She's gotten so big," Rachel grinned looking down at Beth who hid a bit. "Sorry she's a little shy when she doesn't know you," Quinn said honestly as she picked Beth up. "That's okay. I can't get over how much she looks like you," Rachel said shaking her head. Quinn smiled "Thanks,"

Brittany rushed over in her angel costume. "Oh my gosh is that Beth?" Brittany asked. "Yeah. She's about 7 months now," Quinn said as Brittany started playing with her which Beth was receptive to and smiled and giggled. "7 month olds are like baby geniuses," Brittany said as Quinn laughed. "Well she can do a lot more than she used to. She babbles, can sit up on her own, and looks at you when you call her name," Quinn said honestly. "See what did I tell you, genius," Brittany said as she rushed off.

"Well well well I'm surprised you showed up Fabray," Santana said as she stood there in her sexy devil costume. "Sam and I were just stopping in to say hi," Quinn said as Beth gripped onto Quinn, looking afraid of Santana. "It's okay," Quinn told Beth who shook her head. "She's nothing like Puckerman. Speaking of him. You should talk to him. He's dying to see you," Santana smirked as she walked off as Quinn sighed. She didn't want to deal with Puck, not tonight.

"Quinn! I didn't think you were coming," Mercedes smiled hugging Quinn. "Sam and I just decided to stop by. You remember Beth right?" Quinn smiled. "How could I forget. You know your Auntie Mercedes huh?" Mercedes said as Beth smiled a bit at Mercedes remembering her. "Well you do come by a lot," Quinn said. "Well girl, I'm here for you. For both of you," Mercedes said as Kurt walked over. "Lady Fabray decided to show," Kurt smiled hugging Quinn. "Hi Kurt, I love you costume," Quinn smiled at Kurt's elaborate vampire costume. Beth whimpered afraid of Kurt's costume as she hid her head in Quinn's chest. "Aww did I scare her," Kurt frowned feeling bad. "I think your costume did. She's just a little shy," Quinn said as Beth clinged onto Quinn hiding her face. "Aww...well it's nice to see you," Kurt said as he and Mercedes walked off.

"Quinn...I thought you weren't coming," Puck said as Quinn turned around he was dressed up like a male stripper. "I wasn't. I was just leaving," Quinn said narrowing her eyes at Puck. "Come on. Don't be like that," Puck said upset as Beth looked back and forth between them confused as to why Quinn didn't seem to like the guy with no shirt on. "Don't be like what? You're dressed a stripper and you want me to just be happy to see you?" Quinn asked annoyed. "It's just a costume geez," Puck said. "But it's not with you," Quinn said annoyed as Sam walked back over to Quinn. "We should go," Sam said seeing upset Quinn was getting. "Couldn't agree more," Quinn huffed as she walked away with Beth leaving Puck upset.

Quinn was holding back tears as she put Beth back in her stroller. "Are you okay?" Sam asked as Quinn shook her head. Sam pulled her in for a hug, letting her cry into his chest. "I'm sorry," Quinn said emotionally. "Don't be. I know whatever happened between you two is hard on you," Sam frowned as Quinn sighed. "It's not just that. I know Puck's a good guy when he wants to be but when he keeps getting himself into trouble, I just can't deal with him," Quinn said honestly. "I understand," Sam said comfortingly "Let's take Beth home." Quinn nodded as she and Sam took Beth back to the Fabrays trying to think of the good memories instead of the bad.
