When we reached Ed's car we both feel silent.

"Do you want to come to my apartment?" Ed asked me.

I thought about it for a moment.

"Sure" I replied with a faint smile.

I walked back to my car and drove over to where Ed was parked.

I rolled down my window, "Should I just follow you there?"

Ed looked at me but didn't get into his car.

He stood there with his keys in hand not moving.

His hands were shaking.

It took me a minute to realize what was bothering him.

The accident. He was in a accident.

How could I have forgotten.

"Ed why don't you ride with me to my apartment."

"Thank you." Was all he said.

He got into my car and sat in the passenger seat.

I could tell he was stressed out about being in the car because he out his sear belt on and held on to the door handle.

"Ed what happened in the accident you were in?"

As soon as the words came out of my mouth I regretted saying them.

He may not be ready to talk about it.

"I was driving to the gym and there was a red light. I stopped but the other car didn't.. He hit me from behind and my car went into the intersection. Another car hit me head on and then everything went black. The man in the car that hit me head on is dead. He died and it was my fault."

I have never experienced something this traumatic so I am at a loss for words.

"Ed I'm sorry." Is all I can think to say.

The rest of the car ride is silent.

When we got to my apartment Ed and I walked through the garage into my house.

I found Olivia and Meredith sleeping on the window sill together.

Ed laughed and took a picture.

Then we went and sat on the couch.

We put in a movie and I put my head on his chest.

We feel asleep together.

His arms around me feel amazing.

I love him so much.
