Charlotte's POV

"And that's my cue to leave." Mark said rising from his sitting position on my bed.

"Why?" I asked, rising as well.

"Everytime Hart and I are in a room together everything goes wrong.

"Charlotte! Henry's here!" My mom called from downstairs.

"I'll be down in a minute! You don't need to leave because Henry is here."

"Um in case you haven't noticed, he hates me. A lot." Mark deadpanned.

I hummed as I trotted down the stair behind Mark. There Henry stood in all of his glory. Only he was not alone. Bianca stood beside him. Great.

"Why are you here with her, Hart?" Mark asked him.

"I can say the same thing, Johnson." Henry replied. (That is Mark's last name now.)

"Hello, Mark." Bianca greeted, giving Mark a warm smile.

However, he just stared at her and turn back to look at me.

"It stinks down here. Let's go back to your room."

"Charlotte! Henry and Bianca are staying for dinner. Is Mark staying as well?" My mom said, walking out of the kitchen.

"Well he was just-"

"Yes, I will. Thank you, Ms. Bolton." Mark interrupted.

"That's great! Why don't you all go hang out in Charlotte's room?"

"I don't think my room is-"

"Yes let's go." Mark grabbed my hand and dragged me back up the stairs. His grip on my hand wasn't tight enough to hurt me but it was firm.

"What happened to wanting to leave?" I questioned, smirking at him.

"I wasn't going to leave my best friend here by herself with those two. I love you too much for that." Mark explained.

"Thank you, Mark. I love you, too." I stated before hugging him. (I'm a chenry shipper I'm a chenry shipper, I'm a cHENRY SHIPPER)

"Awww, you two are the cutest ever." I heard a voice say, interrupting out little moment. I gently pulled back from Mark and glanced at the doorway to see Henry and Bianca standing there. I gave Mark a look that said, this is going to suck, before moving to sit back at my desk.

"Make yourselves at home. But please don't jump on my bed, Henry."

"It was one time!"

"One time too many."

Mark came over to me and sat on the floor beside my desk chair.

"I don't want to be anywhere near them." He explained. I snickered and continued to work on the homework for Ms. Shapen's class.

"I finished that yesterday. What were you doing?" Mark questioned me.

"I was working." I answered.

"You're always working and never spending enough time with me." Mark pouted.

"I don't even spend time by myself anymore."

Our conversation was interrupted by a loud sound that sounded like glass breaking. I turning around to see gummy bears all over the floor and Henry frantically picking up broken pieces of my glass bowl. I sighed and rose from my chair only to be stopped by a hand on my ankle.

"You don't have any shoes on. I don't want you to hurt yourself." Mark told me before before rising and walking to the mess. (Y'all I swear I'm a chenry shipper.)

"Nice going, butthead." Mark said before shoving Henry out of the way and picking up the glass pieces.

"Guys there is a broom downstairs. Make the job easier."

"Sit down, Mark. I got this." Henry said before leaving the room.

Mark moved back to sit next to me. Henry returned shortly with the broom and started to sweep up the mixture of gummy bears and glass.

"Your mom said that dinner is almost ready. We are having chicken alfredo." Henry spoke.

"Okay."

"I'm starved right now." Mark whined, laying his head on my thigh.

"Too bad. You have to wait. Why don't you give Char some room. Have you never heard of personal space." Hendy said before grabbing Mark by his collar and dragging him away.

"There is no such thing as personal space with Mark and I." I chuckled.

"We are never that close." Henry stated.

"And you know the reason."

"Why don't we play a nice game of monopoly." Bianca suggested, trying to ease the tension.

"Yes that sounds fun." I agreed.

"Mark you have to give Henry the amount you owe him." I told him.

"But he's in jail! I'm not giving my money to a criminal." Mark disagreed.

"That's not how you pLAY!" Henry screamed. (Bonus points of you know what that is from.)

"Kids! Dinner!" My mom called.

"Here we come!" I called back.

I grabbed the hand of a fuming Mark and dragged him down the stairs, Bianca doing the same with Henry.

I sad down at the dinner table with Mark beside me. Bianca sat across from me and Henry sat across from Mark.

This dinner was definitely a bad idea. I just hope everything goes smooth.
