The next few days flew by and Saturday had finally arrived. I awoke suddenly to what I thought was an earthquake, only to find out it was just Raven jumping up and down on my bed making it shake like crazy.

"Today is the day! Today is the day! Today is finally the day!" She kept shouting over and over.

"Ughhh," I grumbled and rolled over, covering my head with the pillow.

"Get up!" Raven shouted. "We have a long day ahead of us and we need to start getting ready!"

It turns out that Raven had scheduled hair and nail appointments for the both of us. Before I could even think about what was going on I was being whisked away to the hair salon where I spent the next three hours listening to Raven talk about how she and Josh were going to lock eyes and fall in love, just like in the movies. I didn't have the guts to tell her that that kind of stuff doesn't happen in real life. By the time we got to the nail salon she was talking about their wedding day.

Once our nails were nice and dry we headed home and barely had enough time to eat dinner before we had to head to the event. Raven wanted to get there early so we could have front row spots to stand. I didn't care either way, I just wanted to get it over with and go home to my nice cozy bed. Little did I know that this night would be the beginning to something that would change my life forever.
