If You Only Knew

Chapter Five

   He was signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans directly next to Raven and I. I could barely hear myself think with all the screaming going on around me. I thought I was going to go deaf! Raven looked as though she were about to pass out when Josh finally got to her. The only words out of her mouth were

   “Will…you…uhhh..here..” and she handed him the piece of paper she had been clutching the whole night, blushing as his hand brushed against hers. He handed her the paper back and smiled, which sent her into such a frenzy that she almost forgot to get her picture taken with him.                  

   “Wait, Josh!” She yelled. “Will you take a picture with me!?”                                                              

   “Of course!” he said.

   “Here Bella, take a picture of Josh and I!” She quickly threw me the camera and wrapped her arm around Josh. It was in that moment, when he looked up to smile at the camera, and I looked up to take the picture, that Josh and I locked eyes. I don’t know how long we had been looking at each other, but we were finally pulled from the trance by Raven saying

   “Did you get it!?”

   “Errr, hang on a sec, let me take one more,” I said, focusing on taking the picture this time. “It turned out great!” I said, handing the camera back.

   “Awesome! Thank you so much Josh!” she said, smiling from ear to ear.

   “Anytime!” he said, just as an usher came to escort him inside the building. As Raven stood there staring at the picture on her camera, talking about how cute her and Josh were together, I couldn’t help but notice him look back at me as he walked off.
