If You Only Knew

Chapter Twenty One

I woke up the next morning with a big smile on my face. I kissed Josh last night. I, Bella Brookes, kissed Josh Hutcherson. It had to be a dream. I mean come on, things like that don't happen to me. But it wasn't a dream. It really happened. I mean, he is so perfect. His smile, his eyes, the way he talks, and the things he says. It's all so perfect. He's real. He's normal. My thoughts were interrupted by Raven busting through my bedroom door and flopping herself on top of me.

"Ouch, Raven!" I yelled.

"Sorry, but you HAVE to give me the deets about your date! Scoot over!"

"Ugh," I groaned as I rolled over onto my stomach, burying my face into my pillow.

"You know, some people actually like to keep the details of their personal lives private."

"Not with me you don't!" She exclaimed. "I have been your best friend for eleven years! We share EVERYTHING!"

"I know Ray, but when it comes to stuff like this, we don't need to share it all," I said, sitting up and facing her.

"Fine, can you at least answer one question?" She asked.

I sighed and said,

"I guess so."

"Did he kiss you?"

I couldn't keep that a secret even if I lied. My cheeks betrayed me as they turned a bright shade if pink and a slight smile crept across my face.

"Oh my god he did, didn't he!?"

I blushed even more.

"Awe, Bella that is just so adorable!"

All I could do was just sit there, smiling like an idiot.

"I'm going to go make some breakfast, how does eggs and toast sound?"

"It sounds perfect," I said, still smiling.

As Raven left the room the only thing I could think about was the kiss. It really was perfect. I felt something I had never felt before when his lips touched mine. Something purer, and deeper than ever. I felt love. I knew I was falling for him from the moment we met, but I didn't know I would be falling in this way. I didn't know I would be falling in love.
