I noticed Ethan looking down at his wrist, and remembered I was still holding onto it. I quickly let go. His phone screen had already timed out and he took his earbuds off. He turned to me, a smirk on his face.
"So. You and Ash, huh? He must be quite the catch." He said, jokingly.
I frowned and hit him hard. "Don't talk about him like that. He's..." perfect, amazing, really cute...
"He's yours now. He's actually a really good guy. Don't hurt him. Please. He's super mad at me, but that doesn't change anything between us. Even if he thinks I'm stuck-up horse crap, I'll still thank him for the memories...even if they weren't so great." He said, leaving me in shock.
"Wow. That was...really sentimental." I said, earning a cold glare from him.
"Shut up."
Suddenly, the bell rang and I sighed, looking over at Ethan. "Well, see you tonight?" I asked.
He nodded, placing his earbuds in and standing up. His eyes glistened in the sunlight that was drifting in through the window, and he smelled like AXE.
I waved as he walked away. He seemed a bit happier And cheerier than before.
And this time, he didn't wear his hood.
