Evelyn
The bell rang, signaling that it was time for P.E.
I rushed out of class, trying my best not to cross paths with anyone I knew could start a conversation. I headed for my locker, staring down at my phone and not wanting to be noticed.
However, luck just had to run out at that moment.
"Well, Well, well, if it isn't Evelyn." Said Sapphire, startling me.
I looked up at her and rolled my eyes. "What more do you want from me, Sapphire? Haven't you had enough?"
She laughed. "Oh, please. I'm not here to socialize with trash. I just came to deliver a message from your dearest Ethan."
My heart stopped at the mentioning of his name. I bit my lip and tried not to think about my previous confidant.
"He told me to tell you he's done with you and wants nothing to do with you anymore. He probably figured out how much of a freak you are and never wants to see your face again." She continued.
It's all a lie...it's all a lie...
"He's over you now."
"No he's not."
"Yeah. He is. You want proof?"
I glared at the blonde before me.
She took out her phone and smirked. She tapped on the screen a bit and opened Instagram. I raised a brow, wondering what the hell this girl was up to. She flipped the screen and waved it in my face, causing me to have a mini heart attack.
There before my eyes was a picture of Ethan and Sapphire...kissing?!
I looked back up at the girl. A million thoughts were running through my mind. This was all my fault. If I hadn't freaked him out like that, I would still have a friend I could trust.
What have I done...
I watched the blonde walk away, leaving me in the empty halls all alone. And now, alone forever.
