"Um, one Frappuccino please. " I said.
The lady behind the counter looked at me, studying my face briefly before nodding in understanding.
I pulled out my phone, sighing at the many emails I had received from my lecturer.
Five minutes later, the lady returned. She pushed her glasses further up her face.
"One frappe right here. " She said.
I nodded and smiled.
I cocked my head to the side, feeling stupid instantly for even having the thought cross my mind.
"You don't suppose we've... Met before, do you? You seem vaguely familiar. " I said.
She smiled. "If we have, I've probably forgotten. You do resemble someone I knew once. "
My heart skipped a beat.
"Evelyn? "
She blinked. "Oh, no... I'm Hannah...sorry. "
I chuckled. "Sorry... I guess I got confused. "
She smiled. "Oh, it's fine... But we could get to know each other if you'd like. "
I smiled, a strange feeling of nostalgia washing over me.
"Yeah? Well I would like that. A lot. "
After scribbling down her number, I walked out of the coffee shop, knowing my prayers had finally been answered.
