So now Evelyn and I were officially dating.
When I was with her, all my problems were washed away, and nothing else mattered but her.
Her smile, her eyes, her laugh... every single thing about her was perfect. How I hadn't noticed this before? No idea.
I came to school a few days later, feeling pretty good.
"Whoa, What the hell's got into you? You're acting like Dove Cameron. It's freaking creepy." Justin said when I talked to him that morning.
I rolled my eyes. "Well, I'm just happy, bro. Smile a bit, ya know?"
I've never seen an icier glare than the one he gave me at that moment.
"Fine. I'll stop."
"Mind telling me what scrambled your brain? I mean, you're my friend, and if you have any mental issues, I should know." He said, smirking.
I rolled my eyes. "Wow. I almost laughed."
"Are you going bipolar?"
"Justin, just shut the hell up."
He was cracking up.
"Look, remember Hannah? That girl you dated about two months ago?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yeah. What about her?"
"How did you feel when she said yes?"
"Epic. Amazing. Totally mind-blown. Supercalifrag-"
"Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell."
"Nope. Not at all."
Yeah, right.
"Well, I'm feeling... all that right now."
"Explains a lot. Who's the lucky gal?"
"Evelyn. Imma ask her to the dance."
He raised a brow. "Um, you sure you wanna sample those goods? I mean, Ash broke up with her and..."
"It was a dare, Justin."
"I knew it!"
I sighed.
This is gonna be a long day...
