I awakened to shivers running down my semi-bare legs, a hard, cold object placed beneath me and my hands bound behind my back; my legs bound together. I raised my head, blinking feverishly to gain clear vision. He stood, staring at me; changed into a black hoodie and tight black ripped jeans, his hair scattered across his head; in contrast to when I first saw him, playing with a drawn switchblade between his fingers.
"Firecracker, you're awake. I thought they gave you too much anesthesia for a minute." He laughed in a discourteous manner, pulling the switchblade down and sliding it into his pocket.
I took time to examine the four concrete walls swallowing me, there's no windows, no way of light except for a flickering light bulb hanging from the ceiling, with only one way out, a metal door with a rectangular slot at the top of it, decorated with 3 different locks.
"Where the hell am I?" I whispered, trying to contain any signs of the abundant amount of fear running through me. He laughed to himself and ran his nicely groomed fingers through his disheveled hair.
"In my basement of course, you didn't think I could let you go after what you saw, did you?" He replied with such contentment.
"What are you going to do with me?" I asked, lowering my head towards the ground.
I heard his deafening footsteps pound closer and closer to me, until they stopped right in front of me.
He lifted my head up to face his, his piercing gunmetal blue eyes staring into mine.
"That's for me to know and you to find out." He breathed, inches away from my face. He pulled away bursting my bubble of confusion and faced the door.
"Camilla!" He called out.
One of the girls from tonight walked in with a ring of keys in her hand. Camilla isn't too tall, she's 5'5 at most, she has short, wavy dark brown hair and deep hazel eyes to match. She has a bit of a curvy figure, reminding me of a skinny pear.
"Yes, boss." She recites, standing up straight while neutrally resting her arms by her sides.
"The vacant room- take her to it, Mikey and I have business to attend to tonight, watch her." He said, Camilla sighed and turned to me as he cracked the door open and walked out.
"Let me get you out of this." Camilla groaned, pulling a knife out of her pocket referring to the ropes around my wrists and ankles.
"If you're going to kill me, do it quick." I said watching her approach me.
"If Reid wanted you dead he would've killed you right there in the alley, he hates loose ends." She replied, cutting the ropes and tossing them to the side.
Reid.
"Then what's going to happen to me?" I asked rubbing my sore wrists, attempting to wake my numb legs.
"I don't really know, just follow me and keep calm."
We walked out of the room down a long beaten up hallway with doors and rooms exactly like the one I just left. We reached the end of the hallway and another metal door stood in our path with a keypad next to it, Camilla quickly typed in a 4 digit code and opened the door.
Due to the rooms I experienced you'd think wherever the door led you would be horrid, but it was the exact opposite . The door opened and we were exposed to a modern foyer, classic paintings, pictures of snakes and a few of the people I seen tonight, including Reid, painted the walls, a brown glass table with abstract sculptures on it were right next to a light brown minimalistic door, through the aesthetic glass slits of the door I could see city lights and a yard, it must be the exit.
