Penny's fur ran across my leg as she sluggishly stretched against it.  I looked up at the furry feeling, just to watch her walk out of my room.

The familiar banging of Kamikazes and shots grazed my presence as I stumbled out of bed.

I grabbed my shower necessities, makeup remover, face wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, and moisturizer then made my way to the bathroom, half of the housemates were up and doing whatever they pleased, while the other half roamed their bedrooms preparing themselves for the day.

I washed the lust, confusion, and discombobulation of last night away.  I grazed my sensitive, honeyed lips with my fingertips, the same lips Reid bit, the same lips Jamal licked.  I began to scrub harder. I stepped out of the shower and I tied my hair up with my favorite yellow scrunchie and sighed at the purple blemishes down my neck.  I began to wash my face with my coconut face wash, surrounded by my overwhelming thoughts.

I kissed Jamal.  I kissed Reid.  I almost had sex with Jamal- I wanted to have sex with Reid. Reid held a gun to Jamal's back. I kissed them both.

"Fuck."

I removed the wash with a splash of cold water in a desperate attempt to wake myself up and snap out of the daze of last night.  I finished gurgling my mouthwash and spit it out, brushing my teeth next.

I sighed once I was done with that and attended to the marks on my neck.  I squirted a dab of  Pro Filt'r on the back of my hand and got to work.

I successfully blended the foundation in with my skin and covered the marks with my pink beauty blender.

"It'll have to do." I sighed while popping open the cap of Camilla's house-welcome ibuprofen, swallowing two of them with a gulp of water.  I moisturized my hair and took a good look at myself in the mirror.

"What have I gotten myself into?"

I walked into my room and sat my things down on my desk, Jessie sat, with his arms crossed against his chest, on my bed.

"Don't yell too loud." I said, plopping down in my chair and bracing myself for a Jessie lecture.

"What the heck, Claire!?  A text message? Really?!" He yelled, standing over me with disappointment on his face; as if he were my mother.

I didn't want the others to get in trouble for sneaking out with me so I sent them a sly text message from my watch telling them to leave. I guess he's not  too happy with my choice, but it's not like I would've gotten much of a chance to walk into the club and tell them to come with Reid and I, mid-make out- I'm not sure I would've done it if I did have the choice.

"Now, why on Earth did you do it- was it Jamal? Did he do something to you, Claire? I will slit his fuckin' throat!"

"No- No, No! He didn't do anything- well, we almost did- but we didn't, Reid stopped us."

Jessie gasped at the end of my sentence, then looked at me in confusion; taking in every aspect and clue he could find in my demeanour, after about five minutes the gaping 'O' appeared on his face again.

"Oh fuck! Who does he think you went with?"

"Some random people I managed to sneak out with, you guys are in the clear."

Jessie walked towards me and bent down to pull me into his warm, citrusy embrace.

"Thanks, Clairebear."

"The least I could do." I remarked, snuggling my face in Jessie's warm chest, he didn't know at the time but this hug was an act of comfort I really needed.
