Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.

5 Months Later

My soft, lacy white train trailed behind me, falling gracefully. The sun beamed through the long white drapes, kissing me through the clean window panes.

I adjusted the straps of my dress, prepping it over my shoulder.

I looked in the mirror, running my hands over my round, growing bump, the bump covered in soft white lace, the bump my healthy, robust son is growing in.

I smiled at myself, fighting my overwhelming tears.

Three years ago, if you would have told me I'd be marrying the love of my life and carrying his child all at once I would have laughed then slapped you for lying to me, but it's all true. So beautifully true. After everything we've been through, the months of planning our wedding while dealing with my pregnancy, and anticipating our future, we've made it here. At a beautiful garden, surrounded by our beautiful family and friends, preparing ourselves to forever solidify our love for each other.

My long black hair, straightened and flowing with each movement I made, cascaded down my back, my makeup was subtle and sweet, but magnifying enough for my big day.

Cleo handmade my wedding dress, accounting for my bulbous belly. It was tailored with pure white lace and tulle, my dream dress.

Naked mannequins stood in the room, everyone was dressed and ready, we were moments from the beginning.

"It's almost time for mommy to marry daddy, baby boy." I beamed to my belly with my hands resting on my stomach.

"Our baby is the size of a spaghetti squash this month."

I gasped and spun around.

Reid wore a sharp black suit, with a clean white dress shirt under it, the first three buttons of it neatly unbuttoned, he accessorized with his favorite Rolex and cufflinks.

"Reid, you can't see me yet! It's bad luck!" I whined as I turned around, covering my eyes.

"I am bad luck, firecracker."

Reid approached me, wrapping his arms around me before tilting my chin up to kiss me.

"Besides, I couldn't wait that long." He laughed.

I laughed with him, rolling my eyes.

"Oh- that's a kick." I winced while holding my stomach.

Reid's eyes brightened, he quickly removed his hands from around me and placed them on my stomach, directly near our baby.

"Attaboy." He smiled, feeling the strong kicks rippling through my stomach.

I smacked Reid's arm as he egged him on.

Reid laughed, looking at the clock, then sighing to himself.

"It's almost showtime, baby girl." He placed a small kiss on my cheek.

"Don't get cold feet on me." He winked before leaving the room.

I won't.

Jessie, Mikey, and Cal entered the room, shaking their heads.

"We told him about the bad luck." Jessie sighed.

They entered the room with black suits and matching ties, dark plum shirts under it; matching all of Reid's groomsmen.

Mikey smiled at me, pretending to wipe a tear away.
