"What did you do- what did you do!?""Claire, stop that shit and move!"
"What have you done!? What have you done!?"
"Claire get the fuck out of my way!"
"Claire!"
"Claire!"
"Claire?"
"Claire?"
"Claire?!"
I bounced out of my nightmare with cold beads of sweat forming atop my brow. Reid stood, leaning against the doorway examining me. His arms crossed against his chest and eyes narrow.
"Are you okay?"
"Fine." I replied with a weary smile, jumping out of bed and walking into the bathroom.
I spent an hour in the bathroom, showering, washing my face, brushing my teeth and hair. Thinking. My dream, more like a nightmare, felt so familiar and clear, yet distant and far.
"Just a dream, Claire." I sighed to myself, splashing cool water against my flushed face. I entered the bedroom, Reid's nowhere in sight. I peaked my head out of the doorway and saw him on the sofa, typing on his computer.
I stealthily approached him, sliding his lit computer off of his lap. His bright eyes met mines, my playful demeanor matched his. A stern, mischevious look in his eyes. I slowly sat on his lap, positioning myself in front of him as his hands began to roam my body, his cock slightly twitching through his jeans.
Planting kisses down his neck, getting gravelly moans in return, my hand made its way down his broad shoulders, steel 8-pack, to the buttons of his jeans. I unbuttoned it and started unzipping his zipper when his large hand stopped mine.
"Why?"
"Not now, Claire."
"Why, why won't you take me?"
"Don't test me, Claire."
"What's the reason?"
"As hard as it is, I want to wait for the right time, you're more than just a body to me; so we're going to wait. Clear?"
"..Clear."
I stood in the kitchen, sprinkling a dash of minced garlic in the soup. Not a lot, it doesn't need to smell as bad as Charlotte's breath. I'm surprised I could remember my mom's recipe by heart.
"What's cookin'?" Reid asked, exiting the room with a comical Grinch sweatshirt on. It's bright green with nothing but the Grinch's devilish smirk on it, way out of Reid's style zone.
"What's that?" I manage to ask through my chuckles.
"It's the Grinch, not that funny either."
I could only laugh harder, my sides began to hurt.
"You weren't laughing this hard when I was-"
"Its soup, and for Laurie."
"Yeah, I thought so. Let's order pizza."
"Sure."
Reid unlocked his phone and gave it to me before sitting on the couch and beginning to work again. I took a quick glance at his home screen, one of the cuter selfies I took of us on the plane. I'm sticking my tongue out he's sleeping on my shoulder peacefully, golden hour treated us kindly.
"Make sure you order pasta."
"Yeah." I responded snapping out of my home screen daze.
"When will I get my cards back?" I asked, customizing our pizzas. It had to happen eventually.
