"I'll call you back as soon as I can. Don't freaking out maybe he doesn't know, why do you still worry about him? Look I'll come see you later. Okay" Mutassim ends the call.

Sarah was eavesdropping on his conversation. Then she walks in.
"You called me?" She asks.

"Yeah I need you to talk to someone and I don't want Rumaisa or anyone hear about this. You understand?" He asks and she nods.

After their conversation she hurries to Rumaisa's room.
Rumaisa was lying down watching Superfly on her laptop.

"Let's talk" she tells her sitting beside her.
"What? don't disturb me"

"It's about yaya Mutassim, I think something is off"
She presses pause and turns to look at Sarah eagerly.

"What? tell me" She asks.
"I heard him talking on the phone saying stop freaking out it's not like he knows, stop worrying about him I thought you don't care about him. I'll talk to you later. And then I went in".

"That's really odd. But who was he talking to?" She asks.
"I don't know if I did I wouldn't have told you".

"But why were you there?"
"He just asked me to get something from his car, outside".

"He was talking to someone who was probably freaking out about something that is for sure".

"Anyway gather your evidence I have somewhere I have to be".
"Bye" Sarah says before she walks out.

Flashback.

Rumaisa And Fuad were seated in anty's mini parlor talking.
"Do you know how many times I called and you didn't even pick up your phone?" She asks pouting.

"Sorry I left my phone in Walid's room" he answers back.
"What's with you and dumping your phone in walid's room? All your friends meet up there, you never know who might take it but you have a password right?"

"What? You know I don't have one. We're guys, we know everything there is to know about each other so I doubt I need to keep my phone around me all the time".

"Really? The last time you left your phone with your friend and went home  you didn't retrieve it until after 2 days".

"Where you worried?"
"Of course I was, when it comes to your phone you are really careless with it. What if people see something?" She asks.
He starts laughing.

"There is nothing to see. I don't keep inappropriate trash in my phone you never know who might pick it up".

"Then don't keep your phone carelessly".
"Look Rumy I get that but sometimes you forget you have a phone when you have nothing to hide. My sister dumps her phone when she has no subscription and I dump my phone because I have nothing to hide. You know that since you take my phone when I'm not looking and check it".

She looks at him surprised.
"Yeah I noticed" she turns her head embarrassed.

"But how am I sure you didn't clear it before you came?"
"Touché, well you're not but I'm sure you know I have nothing to hide". He smiles at her.

"But at least start keeping your phone close by".
"Sure thing beautiful. How about we go to the cinema?"

"Which one?"
"The one near your house, it's better. Maryam and Sarah can come over. I'll invite Walid and Jabir"

"Okay. I'll call them" she gets up leaves to get her phone.

When she came back, Sarah was already seated next to Fuad. He looked pissed off and she just kept smiling.

"I'm back"
"Oh do you need anything else?" Sarah asks.

"No thanks" he replies through gritted teeth.
Sarah walks away.
"What's up?" She asks worried.

"Nothing I can't handle. Did you call them?"
She nods and smiles.

Since then she noticed he didn't act the same. Something changed, normally people wouldn't notice but she did because it was only towards her. She asked Sarah and Sarah kept saying nothing happened so she left it at that.

Maryam was seated outside with her son Kamal when she spots Sarah coming.

"Saratu? What brings you here? I thought you said you'll never come and see me?" She says smiling.

"I'm not here for your 'I told you so' routine. I want to talk to you".
"We'll go ahead. How can I help you?" She asks dropping kamal on the carpet to play with his toys.

"It's about Rumaisa and Fuad".
"Oh okay. What is it?"

"I know about your whole vengeance plan. You can't do it, I don't think you should at all. Abort it while you still can".

"Why? Because you don't want it?"
"Because she is getting married to Fuad".

Maryam was dumbstruck.
"What are you talking about? Fuad? You mean Fuad Ibrahim?"

"Of course I mean him. Who else? If she goes on with this and he ends up finding out she will pay for it. We both know it".

"But she agreed? Revenge?"
"Yes. She planned it all"

"No it wasn't. Everyone knows it wasn't. But as her friend you have to tell to her to end it because it will hurt her more than it will hurt him".

"Does Mutassim know?" Maryam asks curiously.
"I'm not sure yet".
"Okay I'll see what I can do".
Sarah nods.

"He's growing taller. He looks a lot like his dad".
"Well he has my chocolate complexion and my amazing smile".
They both burst out laughing.
