I sat there looking and admiring my work.
It's been 2 days since I came to Kaduna and my plan begins today.

I don't want to show Fuad that I'm in any way hung up on him and still holding a grudge, no. Infact I want him to think I've put everything behind me and I'm living happily.

Whenever I think about the tape I get furious because he planted a camera in the room, that was why it was taken from an angle high also why he wasn't seen in the video, I stood there in only my panties and the whole world saw it.

I can't forgive someone who would stoop that low just to get what he wants.
What did he want?
I can't seem to get question out of my head, is it to get back at me for something I did?

Unfortunately for us both it's too late for that now, I'll just have to take action my own way. I'll rope him in so much he'll never suspect me, he'll think everything is just a mere coincidence.

Jabir comes in and sits on the arm of the chair I'm lying down on.
"So? Shouldn't you be getting ready? You're supposed to stage a huge coincidence between you and Fuad in just an hour".

I smile "That's all I've been able to think about".
He nods and turns his head away "Will you be able to handle it?"

I sit up "Handle what?"
"Seeing him, maybe they're still feelings"
"Just plain hatred, there can't be anything else".

He looks at me, bothered "I hope so. But before you do anything I want you to understand that once you start this you cannot end it".
I smile "I know, I've thought about it enough and I've made up my mind".

"Okay then. I'm going to go get dressed, you should too". He gets up and walks out.

I don't think I would be able to do this without Jabir, he's like my safety net.

I know Fuad to like simple but beautiful things, so I dressed simply.
I just wore my bubu and simple things to go along with it.

I walk out the house.
Jabir was standing by the car talking to Rilwan.
"So maybe you should just go buy the fuel and we'll think of a solution after that. If it's possible I'll see if I can get my hands on what they're asking for. In the meantime just send me the mechanics contact".

Rilwan nods "Okay but I'll go after asr".
"That's fine too" he turns and looks at me "So are you ready?"

I nod nervously.
Rilwan turns around and walks away without so much as a word. That guy and he so sweet today and be the complete opposite tomorrow.

"You're nervous?" Jabir asks me.
"Huh?" I raise my head looking at him.

"You're nervous, is it because you're meeting him".
I scoff "I'm not nervous".
"Rumaisa you're fidgeting".

I look out the window "Just drive"
He laughs.

Nothing will make me give this up, nothing.
To him everything will just seem like a coincidence, his karma but the truth is I'm going to be everywhere making his life difficult.

He's done living in peace.
"Don't think too much about it" Jabir says smiling.
"I can't help myself".

"I get it"
"But how are you sure he's going to be there?" I ask worriedly.
"He always goes there every week, I think it's his favorite restaurant and I had it confirmed by someone".

"Who?"
"Now I can't tell you that, can I?"

I laugh "You're seriously boring".
"Nothing new for us both".

I huff and open the restaurant double door. I walk in and patiently wait for Jabir.
He comes in and smiles "Let's go" he winks.

"Excuse me" he says to the receptionist.
"Yes sir, please what can I do for you?"

"I'd like a table at the VIP"
She nods "You don't have a reservation?"
"Unfortunately not".

"Let me check if there's an empty table".
"Of course, take your time".

"Fortunately there's an empty table, let me take you there".
He nods.

We follow behind her closely, to the third floor.
We sit at a table.
"Let me send someone with the menu" she walks away.

"It's a really nice place". I say nervously looking around.
"You shouldn't be looking around, he's beside you". Jabir says and I freeze "And he's looking over here too".

I just stare at him, a bit scared to turn around.
"Don't worry, it's all good. He's alone".
He smiles "He's walking over".

I shift uncomfortably on my seat.
"Be calm"
I smile taking in a deep breath "It's going to be okay. So where are we going after we're done here?"

"Well I was thinking—" he trails off looking beside me with a smile "Fuad, what a surprise".

"Yeah it seems, when did you get back?"
I raise my head and look at him.
He's looking older not to mention better looking.

He smiles "Rumaisa, I didn't know you got back".
I smile "I'm not as famous anymore".

He was smiling at me sadly, you'd actually mistake it for pity but what if it is? What if he's pitying me?

"You look good, better"
I laugh "Was everyone expecting me to die of depression" I joke looking at Jabir who just chuckles.

"I'm happy to see you" he says "Maybe we might see each other soon".
"I'd rather not".

"Fuad?"
A girl calls his name standing next to him.
"Hadiza". Jabir says like things we're getting interesting, resting his arms on the table.

"Jabir, it's been a while".
He nods.
Am I the only one who doesn't know who this Hadiza girl is?

"Hadiza this is my cousin Rumaisa"
"Oh that Rumaisa?" She smiles "You're back, hope Kaduna has been pleasant?"

"It has and you are?" I ask looking at Fuad.
He just stood there looking at her as she stared back waiting for his response.

"It's seems like he's in a bit of a daze, I'm Hadiza. I'm his girlfriend".
"It's good to meet someone new".

"Same. Well I have to head back home. It was good seeing you Jabir" she looks at me "It was a pleasure meeting you".

"Bye" Fuad says holding her hand and walking away.

He completely froze on his girlfriend, maybe this would be easier than I thought. This is just a beginning.

"So? You didn't even have a full on conversation with him, what was the point of meeting him?"
I smile.

"I wanted to see his reaction, that way I'd be able to know how I would take care of the situation. But it seems like things will be easy".

He nods "But whatever it is you want to do, don't ruin yourself in the process to. Try to move on too".

I smirk "I already have".
