"So if they sign the papers everything would go as planned but let's not get our hopes up"
He says nothing, he just sits looking at her.   
"But don't worry the sales have spiked and I think everything would be in our favor if the contract states their demands"

He still says nothing.
"Fuad? Are you even listening?" She asks.
"Did you really date Mutassim?" He asks and she stays silent.

"Hadiza? Did you?" He asks again.
"He told you?" She asked still frozen in her seat.

     "It got to me. Tell me"
"I did but I broke up with him and I should have guessed he would tell you"
    
"So he was Stalker M. You need to do something about it"
She looks at him confused.
    
"What should I do I don't want him to ruin what I have with Ismail"
"We'll think of something, okay?"
    
"We? You'll help?"
"I realize it was partly my fault for leading you on but you and Ismail are both my friends and I want this for you, you deserve it"
     "Thanks" She says shyly.

"So have you guys discussed marriage yet?"
    
"You know Ismail of course we have"
"But he doesn't want you to work as frequently as you do now"
    
"Like I said you know him and I agreed"
"You did? I asked you to forfeit it back then and you disagreed you must really like him"
  
She starts blushing.
"But I try not to show him too much love though. I'm thinking of letting Mudassir manage my shares in the company but instead I'll still be your co.CEO in the Live Foundation"
   
"Ahh because you know they'll be almost no work I'd leave for you" He says laughing.
    "Exactly" she smiles back.

"I can't believe it's already official. In 4months fah" she tells him excitedly.
"Come on Hadiza I'm more excited than you are and you know it"
"Agreed" She says nodding.

  
They are seated in her parents living room.
"And I want us to start with no secrets at all, Okay?" He asks.
"Sure I understand"
"And I want to start by saying I understand your reasons for why you kept quiet about what happened to Rumaisa" he says and she freezes.

"Fuad told you?"
"At first I couldn't get my head around it but he explained everything to me so I could understand. The whole Mutassim, Salis and Rumaisa drama and I'm thankful that he told me to clear everything up because Mutassim called and told me he and I had something to discuss so Fuad told me"

She sighs.

   "I get it, you were hurt and heartbroken it's partly understandable but all I want is from you is that you promise me you won't ever take part in all of this ever again"
  
"I won't that's why I told Fuad And ended things with Mutassim I was tired of all this hassle"
   
"I'm glad to hear that"
"And based on that no secrets thing I think you should know that things are about to blow up in everyone's face especially Fuad if he knows"
   
"Are you part of it?" He asks slightly worried.
"No not at all but I know it's not going to be good but my slate is squeaky clean when I blew everything"
     "That's good that you aren't part of it but I need you to explain everything properly because I honestly don't understand a thing".

"Okay..."
