He sat down in his bedroom going through his call logs when she called.

Hadiza How did you know I was about to call.
He asked smiling.

  
I had a feeling so I called first.
she says giggling.

Surprisingly Rumaisa called me and told me that you are not talking to her since something happened between you two and that she apologized but you are still being distant towards her
     

Don't mind her everything is cool between us she is just exaggerating.

You're closer to her remember? Your aunt?

    She ends the call.
"Rumaisa!" He calls her immediately he drops his phone.

She comes in moments later.
"I heard you call me, anything wrong?" She asks looking puzzled.

He gestures for her to sit beside him.
"What's wrong?"
"So you talked to Hadiza?" He asks.

She stays quiet and glues her eyes on the floor.
"I'm sorry"
She looks at him shocked.
   
"It's just that you piss me off sometimes but I'm sorry for treating you coldly"
"It's fine, it's all my fault. I shouldn't try to get myself involved in other people's lives, it's wrong"
    
"That's good but next time don't go getting others involved in our husband and wife arguments and fights"
     
"Okay. I just didn't know what to do"
"Forget it. Come watch with me"
"Let me pour in the rice and I'll be right back".
He nods.
     
"Then hurry up"

She walks inside the kitchen and picks her phone. She received a message

Deeza: I told you it would. He just prefers you sort things out properly before moving on. I know it's complicated.

You: definitely. You're forgiven for your past deeds.

Deeza: Rumaisa stop making me laugh. I didn't do it for you to forgive me, I did it because my best friend was unhappy and I wanted to make him feel better and next time I would advice you try and solve your marital problems yourselves, don't get others involved.

You: He said the same thing.

Deeza: Then listen to the smart people who warned you.
