Rumaisa sat down shaking her legs anxiously, Salis was already with Fuad in the study and she knew there was no way in hell he wouldn't tell his brother.

Finally, they came out.
"Well we can talk more about it on Monday with Hadiza. Let me get the folder for you" Fuad says before he walks away, leaving her and Salis in the living room.

"So what did you talk about?" She asks curiously.
"You can't even hide how scared you are" he says to her.

"And you can't hide the fact that you prefer that he should have married Hadiza".

"You're right? I know she sincerely loves and cares for my brother. You might not be a gold digger but you definitely are planning something. How dumb are you? he leaked a video of you naked to the world and yet you still want to be with him? If you haven't noticed let me tell you now, think of it as an experiment. Whenever you go out in public with him he doesn't like keeping you around him, he'd prefer to stay with Hadiza. He prefers a well known respected girl over a girl people look at and laugh because people who don't even know you have see you naked it's a disgrace".

"That's my problem not yours" she walks away.
Fuad came back to the living room and gave the Salis folder.

"Alright I'll get them ready by Monday inshallah" he says.
"Wait! Why are you acting so formal? It's not like we're at work" Fuad complains.

"I'm acting formal?" He asks.
"What's wrong? Did you get into a fight with Hajarah?"

"No it's not my wife. But she has been getting on my nerves".
"Why? What did she do this time?"

"Well she won't stop nagging about having our own children but yaya I'm definitely not ready yet".

"But you love kids"
"I know but I want us to finish this project so I'd have enough time to stay and take care of her when she's pregnant".

"Have you told her that?"
"No. I didn't think it was necessary".

"Then you should. She is an understanding person"
"Anyway I should go it's getting late. Let's talk about that issue next time and warn your walidain not to come near our sister".

Fuad laughs.
"Wallahi he came to see her at the event today".

"Oh he's serious?" Fuad asks still laughing.
"Ask him if he's serious about her, Momi has been nagging me to talk to you so we can talk to her".

"Yeah yeah go before Hajarah drives over here to pick you up".
Salis laughs.

"She might" He says before he walks out.

He entered his room and found Rumaisa sitting on his couch, still in her clothes.

"Aren't you going to take a bath?" He asks taking off his watch.
"What were you and Salis discussing?" She asks.

"Family and work stuff".
"And I'm not part of the family that I shouldn't know?"

"You are but this case is different, alright? Go and bath Rumaisa".
"I just want to know that's it".

"And I want to bath and sleep, I'm exhausted from all the back and forth today ".

"With Hadiza right? Not your wife".
"Hadiza is my partner. You should understand that".

"How do you expect me to understand when she clings on you all the time and you let her. You don't know how much I hate seeing you with her like that. What does she have against you?"

"You're saying nonsense".
"I hate seeing another girl cling to my husband and yet when I stand beside him it's like I just committed an offense".
He stays quiet for a moment and sighs.

"I know and I'm sorry. Unfortunately I can't do anything about it. Hadiza is a great person with a great personality and I really did care about her a lot, I still do. She put a lot of effort and love in our relationship. Everyone knew what I meant to her, people even joked about how she'd choose me over Mudassir so I can't just push her aside because I'm married to you, she doesn't deserve that and I'd be really thankful if you would stop complaining"

"At least you don't need to keep her beside you all the time".
"I know but I can't help it, she's always uncomfortable around and I don't want that anymore but I'll adjust"

She nods.
"Now tell me what were you and Salis talking about?"
"I'm taking a bath and sleeping right after I don't have time for your nagging and interrogations. Woman! Let me rest." he enters the bathroom.

She pouts getting angry that he dissed her.

"What are we going to do next?" Jabir asks Rumaisa.
"Well I'm not sure yet. But why do we have to discuss this here?"

"Where else?I never came to see your house".
Sarah comes in a moment later. She was shocked to see Jabir.
"Oh you're here" she says sitting beside Rumaisa.

"Yeah I was passing by and I thought I should come and see Rumy" He says nervously.

"What do you mean? You came from your house. You just said so" Rumaisa says back.

"Oh that's good. Anyway the food you're making your husband is almost done and you said I should call you when it's almost done".
"Oh yeah. Let me go so it doesn't overcook" she hurries away.

"So I thought you were busy at the office when I called you earlier".
"Yeah I was but someone took over".
"15mins ago? And you couldn't call to tell me you where free?" She asks again.

Rumaisa comes back.
"So what are our plans?" He asks again avoiding Sarah's glares.

"Why don't you think for me? Then you can tell me" she says back.
"You don't want to do this" He says back getting offended.

"Jabir not here alright?"
"I should go" He says before walking out the door.

"He's so dramatic" Rumaisa says turning her attention back to the tv.
"Yeah he is" Sarah says back plotting her next plan.
