Chapter 14

Your P.O.V

Light kept stroking my tummy hoping I would get pregnant. Ryuk was just laughing when he entered the room, I completely forgot about him, I hope he wasn't watching. Light glared at him then we got under the covers and fell asleep not long after. When we woke up in the morning we didn't do much until the afternoon.

"Hey (Y/N), did you want to go to an ice rink today?" Light asked me. I nodded with excitement, I haven't been ice skating since I was really little.

We put on our coats, then I grabbed my hat and gloves then we left the house our arms linked.

It was freezing outside but I didn't care, Light pulled me closer to him for warmth. When we reached the ice rink he got us both some ice skates, we pulled them on quickly and slowly hobbled towards the ice. I was wobbly at first but Light held onto my arm for comfort.

We glided out together once we got used to it, in the distance we saw a familiar face. It was Ryuzaki.

It was odd seeing him wear ice skates for starters, but why was he here? He came over to us to start up a conversation. Light didn't appreciate him butting in on our lovely day but he didn't say anything.

"Hello Light, (Y/N), you like skating too?" He asked. We didn't say anything but he continued talking anyway. "You guys have anything on the Kira case? I'd very much like the help".

We shook our heads no, then Light said," We'd gladly help you out but we're busy today, maybe sometime during the week". He was trying to be polite, he didn't want to turn Ryuzaki against him.

Ryuzaki nodded in agreement then waved goodbye. Was he really here for fun or did he just follow us?

After skating we went to a fast food restaurant for something quick to eat. We came out a little later, arms linked, sharing a coke.

When we reached home he unlocked the door then noticed no one was home. He walked up the stairs and before opening his door he stared at the handle. He then looked further down where a piece of paper was lodged between the door and wall.

I knew he always put paper there to know if anyone has been in his room. It was still there between the door so why did Light look suspicious?

"Oh (Y/N), I left something outside," Light said taking me by the arm back out the front door. He took me to the end of his road, turned to see if anyone was listening then told me," Someone has been in my room, I always turn the door handle at a certain angle before leaving and I noticed a broken piece of pencil lead on the ground. I always slip a new piece between the door, if it opens it will snap. Someone has come in, noticed the paper and put it back. There must be cameras hidden in my room otherwise why would they put it back?".

I stared at him shocked, even I didn't notice these small details, he really thought this through. Then a shiver ran down my spine. Cameras? Did they truly believe we were Kira now?

"Just don't mention the notebook, don't talk to Ryuk and try to act normal. I have spare pieces in my pocket and wallet so we can still write names for the time being," he said leading me back to the house.

For the time being? How long was that going to be? I hope they don't spy on us too long.

When we got back to his bedroom we sat at his desk to study, we then started working on the History project we were supposed to do ages ago. Light then remembered that L was part of our project, he remembered that time L patted me on the back.

Light then had an idea. He smirked then grabbed my face to force a kiss onto me, he then started sucking at my neck again. He had a smug look on his face, he knew L would be watching this.

I wanted to ask him why he was doing this but I couldn't because we were currently being watched. It was pointless anyway, I knew why he was, basically marking his territory on me in front of L.
