Chapter 15

Your P.O.V

Light woke up an hour early Monday morning, he got up to go to his desk and started studying for all the time he had left. It was exams day. I knew I'd most likely fail most classes because I haven't done much this past week so I didn't bother to study right now, I went back to sleep.

At seven we both went down to the kitchen for breakfast. His parents wished us both luck on the exams while Sayu cheered our names.

When we reached our school there were signs everywhere on where to go for which exam, we didn't need to be anywhere yet, our exams started after break. When break time arrived Light was reading out of a book, trying to get as much studying done as possible when Ryuzaki came over to us.

Light suddenly looked tense, he couldn't handle his jealousy over me, he found it hard to 'protect' me and focus on his work at the same time. But Ryuzaki didn't stay to chat long anyway, he wished us good luck then wandered away.

When our first exam started I was miles away from Light due to our assigned seats. The first page I opened I was lost, I couldn't think straight and for once didn't care. I could see Light in the distance, he was already scribbling away with his pen, well..he's gonna pass for sure.

Several times I could hear one of the adults ,who wandered around the exam hall, scold Ryuzaki for sitting how he does. That didn't stop him though of course.

After hours went by of me mostly writing down guesses, the bell finally rang for us to stop. I sighed with relief and found my way back to Light when we got outside. It was lunch now, there'd be another two hours of exams, then an extra two for our extra lessons. Why did I pick more lessons?

Light wrapped his arm round me whenever someone got close to our table, he was reading a book for most of the time, he didn't eat. "Light, you need to eat," I told him. I waited for a reply until he finally said a little tensely," I'm fine (Y/N)".

I didn't argue any further, I didn't want to anger him, especially today when I was already in a mood. I was gonna fail I just knew it. Light pulled me closer next to him so we started reading out from the book together.

I dreaded hearing the bell go, another two hours of barely nothing. And then another two. After four dreadful hours went by I stood up and stretched, my back aching badly.

I held onto Light's arm on the walk home, when Ryuzaki approached us Light tightened his grip round me. "How did it go Light, (Y/N)?" He asked us.

"Great," Light said but he was glaring at him. I only sighed as an answer, it did not go great for me.

Ryuzaki nodded watching our expressions closely, he turned his gaze to me then my neck. It was so obvious he was thinking about last night, but we didn't say anything, otherwise he'd know that we know.

"Well I have to go now, see you tomorrow?" He walked off to his car, leaving me and Light to carry on walking home. Light's expression turned smug. I didn't even think Ryuzaki was interested in me in that way, I think it is just Light being over-protective.

Light's P.O.V

There! He should know to back off now, he's not to touch my precious
(Y/N) ever again. Only I am worthy of touching her delicate skin, stroking her silky (H/C) hair, and giving her pleasure in bed. I smile in victory holding her close to me, she didn't seem to mind me marking her in front of him anyway. She knows her place, my good little girl.
