“Alli?” His raspy voice answered on the third ring.

“I had. I had that fucking nightmare again.” I sob.

I could hear him sitting up. “The plane one?” He asked.

“Yes, it felt so real. It was so scary.” I’m still shaking and can’t think straight. “It was as if i was actually on the plane, everyone screaming, and crying. Ashton, I wish you were here.”

“Oh hun, I’m so sorry. I wish I was there too. I want you to do something for me though okay?”

I sniffle and wipe my eyes. “Okay.”

“Go downstairs and make some warm tea. I will stay on the phone with you until you are ready to go back to sleep.” His voice is more awake now, and I can hear him getting out of bed.

I get up and slowly make my way downstairs. “I’m sorry I woke you so late.” I say grabbing a cup and a tea bag. The clock on the stove says its 3:15.

“No. You don’t need to be sorry love. I’m glad you called me, I just feel bad that I can’t  be there.”

"It's fine. Thank you for answering." I say pulling my tea from the microwave.

"Hey, that's my job., and I promise nothing bad will happen on the plane. Okay?" I could hear the worry in his tone.

"I hope so." I sigh. "I'm feeling better now, if you want to go to sleep."

“Are you sure? I can stay up with you if you want.”

“No, it’s okay, its 3:30 in the morning, and you have a busy day tomorrow. I’m going to finish my tea and then go to sleep.”

He sighed. “Okay, but if you need anything, you call me okay.”

“I will, pinkie.”

“Good. Get some sleep. I’ll text you in the morning. Muah”

“Muah.”

I finished my tea, enjoying the quietness of the house. By the time I got back in bed it was 4 in the morning and I fell back to sleep with ease.It was almost one when I finally woke up. I slept like a baby, no nightmares, I even woke up in the same position I fell asleep in. Rolling over and checking my phone, I had 4 text and 3 tweets.

Before I even think about getting out of bed, I Facetime him.

“OH MY GOD!” I hear before I see a very happy Ashton. His face is almost childlike from excitement. “I thought you were going to sleep all day!”

“Trust me, if I could I would. Where are you?” I ask, taking in the gray brick wall behind him.

“We are,” He turns the camera around to the dressing room full of boys running around, “at the stadium. They want to take pictures of us on stage for Alt Press before we preform. So we are here super early. How did you sleep?”
