I stared at the tests. One said positive. The other said negative. I couldn’t move. What does this mean. I took a deep breath, grabbed the tests and opened the door. Ashton was pacing back and forth, the others were sitting on the bed talking. They all stopped when I walked out.

“One says positive.” Their eyes grew wide. “The other says negative.”

Ashtons faces contorted. “What does that even mean?”

“I don't know.” I let out a sigh, still looking at the test. “I guess I’ll call a doctor and make an appointment.” Ashton walked over to me, put his hands on my shoulder and made me look up at him. He kissed my forehead and pulled me into a hug.

“Everything will be fine. Don’t worry about anything but yourself. The fans will get over it. I love you and thats all that matters right now.”

I took in a deep breath. “I should call mom.” The others left and I pulled my phone out. “Mom.” I said when she answered.

“What’s wrong?” She asked, sounding worried.

“I, um, I think I’m pregnant. We are always safe but I guess not safe enough, I’m  sorry.” I said fast, taking a deep breath after.

“Alli.” She said. “Thats amazing.”

“What?” My mouth dropped, Ashtons eyes widened. “Really? I mean, I’m not sure if its true or not, but I just wanted to call you.”

“Yes. It’s about time I’m a grandmother, and what do you mean about not being sure?”

“Well, I was sick the last week. I thought it was something on my stomach. The boys had an interview but Ashton stayed with me. The boys said I was sick and suddenly everyone was tweeting that I was pregnant. At first I thought ‘no, we are always safe.’  Ashton said I should take a test. I waited till Toni and Calum came back, took two test and one came out positive, and the other came out negative. I’m going to call a doctor soon to make an appointment”

“Aw, honey. I don’t know why you’re sorry. If you are pregnant, thats wonderful. If you’re not, that is okay as well, you still have time darling. But as soon as you find out you call me okay.”

“I will.” I said.

“Good, I have to get back to work. I love you.”

“I love you mom.” I said before hanging up. “That went better than expected.”

“What did she say?” Ash asked.

I laughed. “She said it’s about time she she’s a grandmother.”

He dropped his head, shaking it and laughing. “Lets call the doctor and see what they say to do.”

“Hi. My name is Allison Hughes, I would like to make an appointment for a checkup also a pregnancy test.” I said, for what seemed like the tenth time.

“Um, let me see.” The lady on the line said, I could hear her typing on the other side. “We don't have any openings till the week after next.”

“That works. What day and time?” I asked, picking up the pin.

“Friday the twenty sixth at one in the afternoon.” She answered. “With doctor Reynolds.”

I wrote down all the information about my appointment beside the doctor office information. “Thank you. I’ve called every office within twenty miles of me and you are the first one to be so nice and actually be able to see me.”

“Aw.” She said. “Well, I hope all is well, we will see you then.”

We said goodbye and hung up. I got up from the table and went to look for the others.
