The ride was quick, but honestly felt like forever. The pain was getting worse and I was getting scared.

"Ashton. It's too early for her to come." I whispered. He looked over at me then quickly looked back at the road.

"I know baby, everything will be okay." I could tell by his voice that he was worried. I screamed as another wave of pain overtook me. Ashton drove right up to the emergency room doors, he ran inside to get me a wheelchair and then raced me in the building. "Someone help." He shouted over the loud noise of others talking. "My girlfriend, she needs help."

Suddenly Lacy came running out of the check in station. "Alli, what's wrong?" She asked, leaning down to look in my eyes.

"I-pain." I winced. "It hurts."

"Like contractions?" I nodded. "Has your water broke?" She asked, eyes huge. I shook my head.

"No. I don't think so." She looked up at Ashton.

"I don't think it did, we were sitting at dinner and she started to complain about the pain and it was getting bad so I brought her here."

"It's a good thing I had to work tonight. Come on, I'll get you in a room and call Dr. Reynolds." She said, leading us down the hall. "I'm going to go call him and get you some papers to fill out." She said as soon as I was in the bed. Ashton pulled the chair over to me and took my small hand in his large one.

"You okay?" He asked.

I shrugged, "The pain has stopped a little but, I'm still worried."

"It'll be okay. I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere." He said, rubbing my hand.

"Dr Reynolds will be here soon, he is on the top floor. You only have to fill out the emergency form, and its just a few questions." She said, handing it to Ashton. "Michael and them are here now, they are in the private waiting room at the end of the hall. Is there anything you need?" She asked me. I shook my head, just as I was about to talk, Dr Reynolds walked in.

"Alli, I thought I said I didn't want to see you back in here till after Christmas." He joked, but his face was full of concern. "What's going on?"

"I don't know. We were-" Pain. "Out eating and suddenly there was pain in my lower stomach and I don't know what's going on."

"How have you felt all day?" He asked, putting his stethoscope on and placing it on my stomach.

"I was kinda tired all day, and when I woke up from a nap I had some vertigo. But I thought everything was okay." I sighed.

"Lacy, will you get me an ultrasound machine?" She nodded and ran out of the room. "Alli, I think its just a sever case of braxton hicks. I'm still going to check though. Have you been stressed out since the last time I saw you."

"Not really."

"Well, I'm going to take a look, and I'm also going to give you some hydration pills so that you can stay hydrated." He said just as Lacy returned. He hooked up the machine and put the goop on my belly. "Lets have a look." He started moving around my stomach till the sound of Roses heart beat filled the room. "Mhm. Just as I thought. They were just braxton hicks contractions. See, she's fine." He turned the monitor over so we could see her. Sure enough, she was just floating around in there.

"Awh, she's sucking her thumb." Ashton pointed out, a smile across his face. Doctor Reynolds took some pictures for us, and gave me a prescription on some hydration pills, he also gave me some tips on how to relax if I feel them coming on again.

"You did a good job coming in." Lacy said as she checked us out. "When I get off I'll come by and check on you. The others are right down the hall." She said, leading us to the room with the others. It was quite a site. A tiny room filled with everyone. When we walked in they all stood up and looked at me.
