I woke up the next morning to an empty bed, letting out a huff I pulled myself out from the covers. Looking around the room for any sign of Ashton I noticed the boxes where gone, with a yawn I went looking to see if anyone else was awake. Jackie was at school so I didn't bother with her room, Tonis door was open but empty. As I made my way downstairs i tried to listen for voices, but the house was was too quiet. There were dirty dishes in the sink, so everyone had to have been awake, but there was no sign of them. A quick look out the window to see that my car was still there, but Tonis was gone, I shrugged and made my way upstairs to take a shower. After hunting down some shampoo, conditioner and a towel I turned the water, plugged my music in and got in. I was only in there for about 5 minutes till I heard someone moving around in my room.

“Ashton? Is that you?” I called out but no answer. “Don't make a mess in there or I’ll kick you ass.” Still no answer, I just shrugged and went on with my shower. I stayed in till the water went cold, allowing any stress on my body to wash away. The bathroom was super foggy, so i opened the door a crack to clear it out, then  started getting dressed.

“Alli!? Alli where are you!” I heard Ashton frantically yelling as he came in the room, busting in the door. “Alli. What the fuck happened here?” He asked looking really scared. “Are you okay?” He comes over and embraced my half naked body to his, still hot from being outside.

“What are you talking about?” I ask super confused. “I was just in the shower? I heard you in my room, but you didn't say anything.”

“What? No. We just got back from taking Jackie food and getting lunch. How long where you in the shower?”

“What are you talking about?” My heart started to race. “Ashton I heard you in my room, and  a little over half an hour. What is going on?” I started talking super fast and tried to get out of his grip.

“Alli. The house is trashed, someone broke in.” He said, eyes wide as I stopped moving.

“Ashton Irwin, that is not funny. I heard you in my room!” I was starting to freak out as he shook his head. “If it wasn’t you, then who was it? Ashton. I was taking a shower, they were in my room. Oh my God.” I started shaking.

“Hey, hey, you’re okay that’s all that matters. Finish getting dressed and we can go make sure nothing is missing.” He says turning to leave.

“Ash. Stay. Please.” I say before he reaches the door, he lets out a silent nod and waits for me to pull my shirt on.

When I walk out of the bathroom I’m in shock. All of my drawers were open, the clothes I had left unpacked were thrown everywhere, and my jewelry box was open, I run to it.

“Oh. My. God. No.” I start shaking even more. “No. No. No. No.”

“What babe, what’s missing?” Ashton asked calmly making his way to me.

“The only thing I didn’t pack up, my grandmother's locket. I was going to give it to Jackie before I left. It was something she gave me when I turned 17. It means the world to me.” I start crying.

He takes the box from my hand and wraps his arms around me. “Shh, we already called the police, and your mom and dad where already on their way home. Is anything else missing?” He asked running his hand over my still wet hair.

I wiped my face, “Not in here. Thats the only thing that is worth anything, but I should check moms room.” I say as he leads the way. “I can’t believe I didn’t think something was wrong. I’m so stupid.” I spit, more to myself.

“No it isn’t. I should have stayed. I should never have left you alone.” He opens the door to my parents room.

“Oh no.” I gasp. Her vanity is turned all the way over, glass shattered, and there was stuff everywhere. I instantly run to the closet where dad kept the safe with his guns, and moms really expensive jewelry, entered the code and saw that everything was still in its place. Closing and locking it back i go out to look through the things on the floor. “I don’t see anything missing.” I speak softly hoping Ashton could hear me. “Wait, fuck, my grandparents wedding bands aren’t here, and neither is mine and Jackie's baby lockets that mom had hung on the mirror. Fuck” I said once more.
