@The Big Day

“Here we are ladies.” The cab driver said when we pulled up to Martin Designs. “Here is my card so you can call me when you’re done. You won’t have to pay till you get back.”

“Aw, thank you so much sir, we will give you a call.” Mom said as we got out.

We got out and headed to the door, but Toni stopped. “Guys, I’m nervous.”

“It’ll be okay I promise, come on.” Mom said dragging her in.

“Hello. Welcome to Martin Designs, do you have an appointment?” The lady asked from behind the desk.

“Yes, for Hood.” Toni said with a smile on her face.

The lady, whose name tag said Marg, looked at the computer. “Ah, yes. Just on time, right this way.” She said, grabbing a key and walking towards a room. “Tammy will be right with you. I hope you find everything you are looking for.”

We thanked her, and she left. The room was rather large, pictures of wedding dresses hung on every wall, and there was a three way mirror. We only waited for a few minutes before a very perky, short lady walked in, hair on top of her head and glasses hanging from a chain around her neck.

“Oh, you must be Toni.” She said with a huge grin on her face. “My granddaughter loves you and Calum, she wouldn’t stop talking about you guys getting married for weeks. I’m so excited to help you find a dress. Do you have any in mind?”

“Thank you.” Toni answered, cheeks a little pink, “And yes I do. I love this on.” She said showing the picture to Tammy.

Her smile grew even larger, if possible. “Yes. Yes. I’ll be back.” She said before scurrying off to find the dress.

While we waited I sent out a tweet.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. “Knock Knock. Ladies I’m gonna have to ask you to skedaddle, I’ll bring her out once we got it on.”

Mom and I nodded before leaving the room. While we were waiting I decided to creep on twitter, only to see that TOni and I were trending.

It’s amazing how the fans know so much, sometimes before we even know. Hopefully though, they wont find out where Toni and I are. We don’t really have anything else planned for this trip, we are getting the bridesmaid dresses back in Kentucky. As time crept by, I started feeling nervous, what if its not how the wanted it, or if she just doesn’t like it at all.

All those thoughts were going through my head that I hadn’t noticed Toni come out. My jaw instantly dropped.

“So, what do you think?” She asked, a huge smile on her face and my jaw dropped.

The dress hug snug in her hips, and flared out at her feet, it had a sweetheart a line covered in lace. The lace covered the entire dress, and also had a diamond belt on it. It looked stunning.

“And the finishing touch.” Tammy said, putting the tiara on.

“Oh.” Mom said, covering her mouth, “You look gorgeous.”
