When I woke up, I was already in my room, with a wet towel placed on top of my forehead. Raphael's face filled my vision, and I was surprised that it was him and neither Jophiel nor Azrael.

I was about to sit up, but then I felt a jolt of pain shoot through my head causing me to groan and lay back down on the bed with Raphael looking at me worriedly.

"Don't stand up just yet. You're still weak, whatever happened back there on the hallway," said Raphael.

I started to get confused as to what he was talking about, but then I remembered what it was.

The voices. The hooded figures. The agony I am feeling by just hearing the words of those voices willing for me to help him. It was obvious that the voice was a man because it was deep and raspy.

I felt pain for him, whoever he is, but I still can't get over how scary they are.

"Raph," I called, calling him since he looked worriedly away from my window. It's like he was looking for something deeper within the views from my window. He placed his eyes on me, and then gave me a soft worried smile.

"Do you have something you aren't telling us?" Asked Raphael, and I felt something block my airway.

I bit my lower lip, but I shook my head. He gave me a soft smile, and then slowly stood up.

"Okay. We're just going to do some archangel business. Something happened within Divine Realm. We're gonna be back soon, so don't move a muscle." He said, and I furrowed my brows but I nodded.

He then turned away, so I remained laying on the bed. When I saw his figure disappear, I sighed.

The room was left to me again, all alone. Thoughts of what they were supposed to do filled my mind, so I closed my eyes and tried to think that I was healing myself, hoping that the same power that engulfed me before would come back to me.

I reopened my eyes immediately when I felt something light touching every part of my body. I was surprised and shocked to see that golden light surrounded me, and I turned my head towards the mirror.

My hair was braided into a braided crown with a few curled hairs falling out. My eyes also seemed glowing, and it was as if my skin was glowing even after the golden glow disappeared. My clothes changed from tattered into a gold decorated white dress.

I started to sit up, and was met with newfound strength. I looked at my hands in wonder and observed myself in the mirror after standing up.

And for once, I felt divine.

The white halls of our home surrounded me, and I freely walked around and tried to find my way out. I needed to know where the others went. I need to know if they were going to be safe, even if I know that they are archangels.

Turning to the left corner, I was surprised when a hand gripped my wrists and pulled me towards its direction.

My heart was pumping loudly against my chest, so I closed my eyes. I felt someone breathing in front of my face, so I reopened my eyes to find out who it was.

"Az? Why?" I asked, furrowing my brows but the way his brows were furrowed beat my own. He looked sideways as if nervous that someone might catch us, so it confused me even more.

"How did you manage to get better easily? Did you perhaps...?" He asked, and I nodded. He sighed as if I was a stubborn child, which confused me.

"Why?" I asked, and he once again looked sideways. Is something wrong? It feels like I am doing something dangerous.

"Don't use your powers. I think I know where the figures are coming from, although I shouldn't be telling you about it. The other archangels are gone on their own mission, finding out about the problem in Divine Realm. There have been reports of dark smog surrounding places, so they were sent to go investigate about it," said Azrael, and I widened my eyes. What is happening?

"Dark smog? Where?" I asked, and he leaned in closer.

"Near the restaurant we went to last time. And some other places, near the forests. Also the forbidden forests. This has to be something serious," he said, and I stopped breathing.

"So we have to go help them. I can find out more about my powers and my abilities by helping then! Let's go, Az!" I said and started to pull him to walk away but he stayed still and gave me a warning look.

"We can't. For all we know, you are one of the nephilims. I'm not saying that you're bad, but some or most of the nephilims have been bad. For now, there aren't reported nephilim sightings. They are being hunted. We have to be extra careful in case ypu are one of them," he explained, and I nodded yet looked down.

Am I one of them? I don't even know how my life started out, to begin with. Why does it feel like I am being hid in the darkness?

Azrael looked at me, and I just realized that he could read my thoughts.

"If it makes you feel better, you can come with me on my task today," he said, which made me lift my head up in surprise.

He had a separate task from the other archangels?

"I do have a separate task from them. Perks of being the Archangel of Death. Although not really a perk, depending on the task," He said, smirking at me. He then let go of my wrists that I didn't know he was still holding.

"Oh. So, where are we going?" I asked, and he smirked evilly.

"Mortal world. We're gonna get some souls. And lead some lost souls. Although we'd have to be careful with... azazels." He said, and I raised a brow.

"What?" I asked, and he sighed before walking ahead of me so I followed him.

"Fallen angels. There are one too many fallen angels wandering around mortal world, and they usually disguise themselves as humans because they are good at deceiving." he said, and I nodded slowly in understanding.

Then I thought, have I encountered a fallen angel once in my life before? It would have been scary what they can do. But I couldn't remember my life back then, so there's kind of no use with fear.

"Shall we?" He asked, and I nodded.

He grabbed my hand.

And before I knew it, we were back in the mortal world.
