Dark atmosphere and the sound of birds chirping. There were trees surrounding us, and as we stepped, the sound of crunching leaves echoed. There weren't any sounds heard aside from our footsteps and constant chirping of the birds.
I was quite nervous by what we were doing and where we were going, but I had to be brave.
Azrael was firmly walking beside me with no sign of cowardice, so I admired that side of him. I loved how he could go headfirst towards a scary place without even feeling any fear. Maybe it was the perks of being the Archangel of Death.
We were walking towards this cave, reminding me of Lucifer. I haven't told him that I won't be able to visit him today because I had to go somewhere. What if he sends Samyaza? Err, I guess he won't do it. I won't be important enough.
"This is Shaman Delphi's cave. She is one of the, if not the greatest, shaman and prophet in this realm. Don't be afraid of her, okay?" Said Azrael, and I slowly nodded even if I was shaking from head to toe.
Azrael then sighed and ruffled my hair, so I puffed my breath out.
Then, we heard some footsteps revealing a lady dressed in a black dress with a black veil over her head. Her skin was so pale that she almost looked like a vampire, and her lips were painted blood red. Her nails were also painted in the colour of wine, and her dress and veil held a vibe that said she was creepy.
She was creepy, indeed.
Azrael stepped closer, forcing me to step closer towards him as well. I hid behind his back and he chuckled. The Shaman then approached us with a blank face making her look more serious and creepy.
"I am the Spirit of Shaman Delphi, sinking through the depths of your thoughts and your core. I am the Spirit of Shaman Delphi, speaking your prophecies and your future. Approach, and you will be enlightened," she said, but it sounded as if her voice was raspy and old even if her body looked our age.
Azrael cleared his throat and then spared me a glance.
"We came here to know her origin, in secrecy. I hope you do not tell others about this appointment, and please help us," said Azrael, and Shaman Delphi's spirit nodded.
She then started walking backwards so we followed her but she halted. She looked at Azrael with sharp eyes, so he stopped following us.
God. I am so scared. I'm so nervous. What if there are more scary things there inside? What if she kills me inside?
She then got inside her cave with me following her trail. Once we were both inside, I saw what was there.
The cave looked pretty much like a cave but there were torches that lit up the whole place. There were also stone shelves that displayed old books and scrolls, skulls, feathers, crowns, and other creepier things. There were also potions there that I am in no condition to ask about.
As I was looking around, the Spirit disappeared which made me widen my eyes. After the Spirit disappeared, an old woman wearing a black chiton with the same veil and a headdress approached me. She then widened her eyes and grasped my wrists as she saw me.
"You!" She said, making me feel more nervous. I could feel my fingers trembling, but she ran her hands up and down my arm and towards my forehead.
She then closed her eyes and strted chanting. I was scared, to be honest, but I couldn't explain it. I didn't know why she was making me feel like there was somethin wrong with me. I didn't know why I started feeling nervous about my own origin.
"Who are you, who are you?" The old lady said, opening her eyes. I furrowed my brows in confusion and she shook her head rapidly. "Kassandra of the Nyx Clan. Why are you here?"
