Chapter 25

Doctor Abigails P.O.V

"Alright we need to prep her for surgery right now"I looked at Lilly and how terrified she looked, even with her swallowen face you could tell she was scared of someone. I didn't know who it was but i knew for a fact that it was not Tobias.

I watched in horror as Lilly started to have a seizure right in front of my eyes and it was a violent one.

"HOLD HER DOWN. SHE WILL RIP HER STITCHES OPEN" I yelled as I grabbed her legs as  Tobias leaped over her chest gently putting his weight on her trying to stop her self from hurting her self even more than she already was, that when the blood started start shooting its self out of her mouth again.

"Right we need to operate right now. Call up ahead to theatre."

 Tobias P.O.V. 2 Hours later

"So you dropped her off at her house at around 2 am is that correct ?"

"Yes "

"You didn't stay for a coffee or anything ?"

"No i carried her up to bed made sure she wasn't going to choke on her own puke and locked the door behind me. "

"Does anyone come to mind? About who would do this to Lilly?"

"No they don't. You think i would be sitting here talking to you two paper pushers if i knew who did this to her "

"Alpha Tobias? What is your relationship with Beta Lilly?"

"She's a dear friend."

"Alpha why would she run to you for help ? She could have gone to her Alphas house a friends house? The packed House ? or the hospital. Yet she drove straight to your house 40 minutes away from her territory?>"

"We arent mates. Her mate was her Alpha but he cheated on her and put a hex on her so she wouldn't find out that they were. So he could go around shagging anything that moved then accidentally mate one. So Lilly has no mate."

"He did wha t?"

"Oh what Alpha Winston didnt mention that ?"I laughed.

"No, he certainly didn't. "

"Ask him I dare you," I smirked,

"We intend too. Have you had any sexual relations with Beta Lilly."I growled at that remark.

"It sounds like I'm the one being questioned about her assault here!" I yelled in anger.

"I'm sorry Alpha we aren't meaning to come across like that. "One the detectives insisted.

"I haven't any sexual relations with Lilly. Till last night she was still a virgin and a few days ago she was still waiting for her mate.'

"Is there any chance that this was just an accident? That maybe it just got a little rough for her." A growl escaped me. They obviously haven't seen any of the photos yet. I pulled my jersey off and which showed my t-shirt covered in lillys blood. Both of their mouths dropped. 

"This is her blood and once you see all of the pictures you'll understand that this just wasn't rough sex. This was a brutal assault. I can guarantee you that Lilly did not consent to this. None of this. Have you been to her house ?"

"Yes we have. There were signs of a forced entry. And that their was a struggle."
"Then why are you asking these stupid questions. Go track the bastard that did this."
