Finally after what seemed like months of being in the hospital, (even though it was just about a week). We were finally home again. 221b. The only place I have ever felt remotely at home. Sherlock and I were curled up on the couch, watching the news on the telly. Mrs. Hudson was bustling around like a mother hen, trying to make me eat and drink tea.
"BREAKING NEWS.
A man later identified as Tobias Boleyn was found dead this morning floating in the Thames. But that is not the surprising part. The man had all of his blood drained. Witnesses are baffled as the po-" I turned off the telly.
"Tobias Boleyn! That was the name of our vampire!" I gasped.
"Somebody killed him, but why?!" Sherlock puzzled.
Only in years later would we puzzle out who had killed Tobias as revenge for hurting me. Perhaps you readers are smarter than we were. However keep in mind that hindsight is the best foresight.
And thus ended our Adventure of the Steampunk Vampire.
