Chapter Four - Leaving on a jet plane.

I sighed heavily as we pulled up to the airport. Its pouring outside the cab. we get out of the cab, Andrea follows a few steps behind me. As I walk in 'I'm leaving on a jet plane' by John Denver. Starts playing.

I swallow my tears as my heels make a clicking noise along the ground.

We make it to the gate with only minutes to spare. Andrea pulls me into a hug.

"You are doing the right thing Keyland. You will be home soon." Andrea promises.

"I'll really miss you. I don't want to go." I say softly.

"Me too Keyland." She says pulling out of the hug. I see the shocked look on her face and turn to see Sherlock headed straight for me his coat billowing out behind him.

His eyes are dark grey pools they say so much. He walks up to me pulling me close to him.

"Keyland." He says his voice thick with emotion. "Please..." My heart breaks as I know what I must do.

"You may not understand why I have to leave now Sherlock, but one day you will." I say brokenly.

"Why do you have to go?" Sherlock says softly.

"Because Sherlock, things can never change between us. I wish things could be different." I say, then uttering the fateful words. "But I can only see you as a friend."

Sherlock pulls out of the hug, pain in his eyes.

"I'll wait for you Keyland Jones. You are a woman worth waiting for." He says all hope almost fading out of his eyes.

'Boarding flight 158.'

"That's me Sherlock." I say hugging him one last time. "Take care of yourself, and tell Mrs. Hudson I'm sorry for not saying goodbye." I walk away before he can stop me. I look back just before I board my flight. Sherlock looks broken.

My only hope, no our only hope now. Is me stopping Moriarty.
