Chapter Eight - The Hostess: Rachel Gondolas.

"Well she was..." Rosamund said at a loss for words.

"Fun." I supplied.

"Yeah." She replied, She reached for her bag and started unpacking. I decided to unpack too.

"So Keyland. Have you ever been to Spain before?" Rosamund said conversationally.

"No this is my first time. In fact this is my first time out of England." I said.

"Wow you are a long way from home." She smiled.

"Yeah. You have no idea." I said suddenly missing Sherlock. She must of noticed my change of emotion because she quickly said...

"Well listen, I realize that I'm not the most cuddly person but if you need anything let me know."

"Thanks Rosamund." I said.

"And you can call me Rosie. Rosamund is kind of stuffy." She smiled softly.

"Thanks Rosie." I said immediately feeling a bit better...

We ate the wonderful supper Rachel prepared, then everyone headed to bed. Rosie fell asleep. But i just couldn't. I was wide awake and homesick. So i went downstairs to get a glass of water. Sebastian was in the kitchen...

"Can't sleep?" He said.

"I've never been out of London before." I explained.

"Well I'm glad you are up Keyland. I wanted to talk to you anyways." He said sipping something brown from a glass.

"Oh?" I said.

"I have a message for you. From a mutual friend of ours." He stated.

"What, who?" I asked.

"Richard brook."

"What?!" I said my hand slipping off the water glass.

Sebastian caught the glass with the grace of a cat and set it down on the counter.

"He wanted me to take you to him. He has a gift to give you." He said watching me closely.

"I don't have anything to give him back..." I said awkwardly.

"Look sweetheart if it's that important to you I'll take you shopping." He said, annoyed.

"Erm." I said. I knew if I refused it would only anger Richard. I had to do this.

"Wonderful I haven't seen Richard in ages!" I smiled. "Thank you Sebastian."

"My pleasure." He said watching me go back upstairs.
